Now we are seeing Greer's Store Closing signs - again on the right-of-way in violation of city, county and DOT sign codes. You can figure the store will be closing for at least 3 months, then Going Out For Business will be announced for 90 more days. Come President's Day next year, we'll finally see Going Out of Business and that will last at least 6 months. The Carey family should be ashamed. This is abusing their friends, neighbors and customers. I know that Ham never would have done this to Loudon County. Just goes to show you what third generation does to a family business. And the amount of money Bo is making as a "cut" from the third party "store event" managers is not worth ruining his family's reputation IMHO.

I can't even tell the girl at SubWay to put my Roast Beef on Whole Wheat in the oven anymore. All I can see is that little feller smiling and waving and cooking in the heat.
Hope Dawgs and Spud are staying in the cool!
Flashback! Do you guys remember the old "Dogs & Suds" that was on Broadway years ago?

SIGNS???? TOURISTS??? Hey man are you unaware that Loudon County (Lenoir City) is on the news every week and sometimes multiple days in that week for some kind of drug related stupidity... and you want to bitch about signs? Instead of picking up signs that Greer's "isn't paying the fee for displaying" (as was stated) why don't you follow around dope dealers and smack the dope out of their hands because THEY ARE NOT PAYING GOVERNMENT FEES EITHER!!! Go put your busybody to good use. PEACE!

Sign abuse can be fixed. Greers signs are merely boils on the landscape. Drugs are epidemic with no end in sight. You can slap em silly but nothing's going to happen until dr's quit prescribing knock-out pills without regard to patient character and real needs. There was a time when the dr told you "take two aspirin and see me next week" Now, it's "Here's a script for 30 Lortabs and see me when you've sold them all."

Well you got me there when was this in the 70's. I vagely remember a hole in the wall after they closed the grand theater as I remember. It was the one that was ten feet wide & 40 feet long.I bet they are still trying to get the food & gum off the floor (the grand that is). Got me again, oven must be hard on the letuce & too-mato.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Taurus

If you're a typical Taurean you enjoy a steady routine, but this is one of those days when you really benefit from living in a more spontaneous way. So forget about your usual schedule and try to ring the changes. Even some small departures from your usual routine will make a big difference to your mood, so don't imagine that it has to be all or nothing.
