OMIGOD...This sounds like another Christina McConnell case, and I sure hope that teen isn't involved in this murder.

From a News article last month:
"CARRIZOZO - Gender isn't supposed to matter in matters of the law, but it did in the sentencing of teenager Christina McConnell."

McConnell was recently (in May) sentenced in a similar assault on a foster mother in Corona, and because there is no detention facility in NM for girls like there is for boys, she could not be placed in secure detention. The same fate awaits the two teens involved in this San Patricio murder, it appears. They too will be given a light sentence by the so-called New Mexico "justice system." And it seems ironic that this murder happened just a short distance from the Cody Posy incident where three were murdered and he is now out in society after having been freed when he turned 21 years of age.

I think that teen girls are worse than boys. Girls will lie and say that their own parents are abusing them. They will lie and steal and do whatever it takes to go out and get laid. I wouldn't be surprised at all if these girls killed this lady. People try to help kids to have a better life and this is the thanks they get. I'm surprised that this doesn't happen more often.

No, there are a lot of good kids out there. They need to just do some serious mental health testing on these kids before placing them with care takers. There are some seriously disturbed kids out there loose. Just because they are juveniles it doesn't mean they are not capable of horrendous acts.

Cody Posey had his day in court. Do you know what he's doing now that he is "out in society"? I sure haven't seen him in the news, maybe the kid got his life straitened out. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors or in people's heads. It's not up to "society" to keep throwing them to wolves though. I truly hope that these kids can be rehabilitated and become productive people someday.

Can we please wait until we find out the facts before we condemn these two girls. Everything I have read doesn't say they did it and they haven't released any names of who was arrested. Unless there is more information out there that I haven't seen, GEEZE PEOPLE!

What? "They got what's coming to them"? I'd say "if they did it" they have a lot more coming to them. This is very sad for everyone involved.

I knew her and she was the sweetest person. She will be missed dearly, and will be in our prayers. I really hope these girls get what they deserve, ungrateful brats. All she did was try and help them out and this is what they do? Sounds like the death penalty to me

If they kill someone they need to be punished.

These girls need to be tried as adults and spend life in prison or face the death penalty. They are old enough to know what they did.

I am lucky that this same thing did not happen to me or someone in my family. We were only lied about and slandered. I will never again take in a kid that is not my "blood".

This is soooooo sad..........God Bless this woman's family, friends and community!! This is a great loss to the world! She was a young and giving woman...I didn't know her personally but I have friends that did. I'm sure she will be missed by all! May God Bless all and comfort be to all of you in your time of grieving!
