A nice, hot cuppa joe

Full story: Farmington Daily Times

It has been a long road to entrepreneurship for Lauren Simpson, who worked in property management and laser hair removal before opening Coffee House Deli on San Juan Boulevard.

So I'll assume that "San Juan Blvd", mentioned in the 1st paragraph, is a misprint and that the only location for this store is on College BLvd. Does anyone know for sure?

I was only drawn to the article by the San Juan Blvd. in the lead in. Where on San Juan Blvd. was answered when I read the entire article and found the location to be on College Blvd.

Nice proofing!

I am wishing her goodluck as well. I'll check it out but if her prices could be a good 50cent less than starbucks or Durango Joes and coffee/americanos just as good or better then I will be a daily customer. Free Wifi?

I will have to go try it Durango Joes/Desert Sun coffee tastes like crap, and Starbucks is nasty and expensive. There is one at AK's thats good, not sure if thats the Red Rock Roasters though. Has a pinion taste so I am guessing probably.

I go there some, It is on Collage and it is really good. The Prices are much better than starbucks, and the coffee is good. I do like the sandwiches too I get the #4 and the pastries are good and big! You all should try it they are very friendly which is a bonus along with everything else!

I have been there and the prices for coffee are better than the other places but what really surprised me was the service. Best service ever! They were open late one time for an employee meeting and I walked in not knowing they weren't technically open and they not only made me coffee (they had to turn everything back on) but she bought it for me because the register was closed. I came in the next day and paid for it and became a fan. Then I found out she did the same thing for my daughter when she went in for lunch from the HS one day. She had forgot her money and didn't realize until after she ordered and went to pay. So those points alone make me want to see her succeed, especially in a town where customer service is not very good.

Tried it a few times on my way to work. Really good coffe, friendly service. Would visit more often if I was not such a cheap SOB. Good luck with the venture.

Good coffee.....good sandwiches....excellent service......affordable pricing. I love this place!! I stop daily on my way to work because I live North of Piedra Vista. It's truly refreshing to have a nice little place like this that is willing to go the extra mile for the customer. Give it a try friends, it's really good and pocket friendly. I wish them all the best.

I haven't tried it yet, but will after all the good comments. Just wish the DT would have gotten the address correct in the opening sentence.

Wow. I'm impressed with all the good/positive vibes here. Gotta be something wrong here. I'm so proud of all of us (though I am tempted to stick a foot or 2 in my mouth just to be "child-like!!!)

More free advertising for a business in the Daily Times. Remember what happened to that other guy with the 3 resturants. This could be bad luck. Oh well good luck to a single mother of 3. Hate to say it but i bet she got the everything in the divorce and thats how she opened the place.

Wow! Daily Times cannot write an article. All the mistakes and the writer left a lot of questions unanswered! For example... what are their hours??
