The prison is the worst place to work. Accent might be bad in your opinion but do you have to worry about literally getting stabbed there? No, I didn't think so.

I've worked Bonne Terre and Farmington prisons. If you have just a little bit of common sense, people skills, and motivation it is one of the best jobs around. Unfortunately they will hire just about anyone and the few that are lazy and push work off on the rest of us, or the ones that fall in love with the inmates, make it tough on the rest of us.

They do make it harder on all of us. The staff is what you have to worry about they will F*** your life up if they even think you might know the games they are running!

Accent was hell. Unless you actually worked for them you wouldn't understand but they make your life a living hell. I can't speak for everyone else but I did my job and did it very well. Great customer surveys and all but Accent never makes you feel safe. It felt like a load of bricks were on my shoulders everytime I walked in there. I got sent to the purple room numerous times for using help desk too often which is what you're supposed to do when you don't know the answer for great customer service you're supposed to provide. You may have 1 bad day or week of surveys and you got written up. (At that time 4 write ups meant FIRED). I never felt safe and felt one of my supervisors was out to get me anyway because she was a lesbian and I am a male she didn't like men because of bad experiences. I could go on but that place really does fire way too many people and then they fight the unemployment benefits from what I hear. Luckily, I resigned before they could fire me but that was the worst job ever.

This is far worse than when I was their. So many of management and higher have been fired. They have a contract with Sprint which is near immpossible to comply with. They use to be fun to work with but now I feel management on down are swimming upstream to save their jobs. It is a hat mess!!!

I also forgot to mention at Accent they monitor your calls and you have to say what they want you to say at the beginning and end of the call. If the customer cuts you off or hangs up on you then you don't get a good rating on the call because you didn't say everything you needed to say. Plus, you had to try selling something at the end of the call and most people were angry customers that didn't want anything else or customers that are happy and don't want to change anything. Tell me how are we supposed to sell more? Then your call had to be under 3 minutes and its hard to do when you have to say a lot, sell, fix the solution, and listen to the customer complain the whole time is hard to get in under 3 minutes. We all belonged on a team. If you had long excessive calls, then you were placed as an "outlier" which meant you were the weak one on the team and would get written up for that too. Sprint has no patience for good customer service. Sometimes fixing a problem can't be in 3 minutes.
Yes TommyD, they had a contract with Sprint that is near impossible. I think they like weeding out employees though so they make those standards. They want fresh people coming in all the time so people don't get burnt out and it also helps because they want people that can accept change, not the older generation.
Their shift bids were the worst. Just when you got used to your schedule, they would switch it up with a center wide shift bid and it really hurt parents because of their kids daycare and school schedules.

My husband worked for Redfields for some time & what a mess! Their employees mean nothing to them, and they get extremely hateful when you have had enough & decide to go elsewhere. Maybe one day they will get a real manager who knows how to treat bodymen & they wont have such high turnover.

I've had problems there as a customer as well.. Called twice to get a quote to paint the hood of my truck, no one ever called back to give me the quote as the secretary had promised. Finally I was told that they didn't want my business due to the fact I would be paying cash and I was not a job they could bill an insurance company for. What the hell kind of business is that, so much for their customer service
