Do you think kids should be able to bring electronics to school?

I am currently in middle school and I really think that me and students everywhere should be able to bring electronics to school. I have a 30 minute walk from where my late bus drops me off. I really don't like the fact that I can't listen to my mp3 player. My mom says that I can't have any of my electronics at school because there is a rule. I also have to wait with my friends for 30 minutes before the late bus actually picks us up. You can't use a phone to call anyone to ask for a ride home. At my school, you can have electronics, but you have to keep them in your locker. No one actually does. You have to turn them off. Some kids take their electronics with them because people can brake into their lockers. I take my phone wherever I go, inside and outside of school. My aunt just had a baby, so I wouldn't have known until around 7 hours later. I am one of those paranoid people who need to know everything. I want to know your opinion on whether kids should be able to bring electronics to school.

i think kids should be able to bring eletronics to school! i agree with u !

i think students should be able to bring their MP3 players to because in my school the teachers want the students to be quiet we talk because we dont have anything else to do but if we had an MP3 we could stay quiet by listening to music. :)

I thinkthat I should be able to ring my cell to school cuz if there is a fire or something happens to your house,or if there are prooblems in the family u shou;ld be able to know.You should also be able to because during study hall when udont have anything to do why just sit there I mean and how are us preps going to be able to talk!1

i agree totally i am a freshman at st.pete high ib and i use my cell all the time and the teachers see but they dont do anything unless they r lecturing so i guess even they think kids should be allowed to bring electronics to school as long they dont use them when the teachers r teaching and as long as we r quiet and behave

i think we should bring i-pods cell ant etc because i dont see any harm but i also think there should be some rule because as a teen i know if we were able to have electrons then id use avantige of it and not pay attention in class and that exactly why we dont have electonics in school.
