whats happening at MEG

It appears that MEG is in trouble again. They have laid off all temps & many full time employees at the Connersville division. It appeared that business was booming at one point and suddenly just dropped off. I was at one time an employee at the Connersville location through a temp service but was laid off,promised to be called back but never was. Me among many others. They laid off their best workers, the ones who were productive and kept the ones who hid so they didnt have to work. There is one girl there that misses at least a day a week and does very little while there but she still has here job, while others worked their butts off only to be let go. That place is a joke. The office help there act like their shit dont stink and carry on like sluts with the men that work there. D.L. deserves to lose her job for the crap she pulls there. Her hubby needs to take a sneak peek into what she's doing. They do have a few good employees there but she isnt one of them. Bet I know how she keeps her job! They need to clean house and bring back the real workers, maybe their production would improve!!!

I think if they would get rid of a couple of John's that place would produce & turn a profit again...but that's just my opinion!!! Oh, and the President should retire, he's not anymore than a mushroom that the John's feed full of crap & keep in the dark - and the bad thing is, HE allows it!!!

I agree about John E. needing replaced. The women at the Connersville are stuck up his ass the minute he walks in the door in that place, I'm sure that how a couple of them keep their jobs! They had a pretty good team of guys on their loading dock at one point that seemed to jump in and get the job done but he ordered them all to be laid off but the women there miss work constantly due to hangovers or hurt backs and they still have their jobs. The warehouse clerk Deb L. tried making her rounds with the guys there, John included. They need to clean house and start over, maybe that will same some jobs in Connersville. MEG is good for laying off & promising people they'll be called back in a couple weeks so they hold on to hope only to be strung along and never be called back. That place is a joke!

they need to start at the top and work their way down - I worked there for many years, in many positions - including the JOE years...J.E. makes Joe look like Mickey Mouse!!! I wasn't laid off, I feel I was forced out, and the Connersville HO's were promoted into positions they couldn't dream about let alone run! D.L. may sleep around, but there's one down there that changes husbands more than I change my socks!! And, they've been through more management than any company I've ever seen, so I say start with the top, and AXE them ALL!!! The women in C.City know more, and could run circles around the jokers they call Upper Management! Dollar General was their only source of revenue, and they are going, going, gone!!! From speculation, don't look to go back - if certain banking issues fail, they will be closed by the end of May - Connersville included!

I guess they have been calling some of their workers back, I have yet to be called. They did start a Tractor Supply and Carquest line but I agree that Dollar General was their main revenue. The manager Angie Coy at Connersville was a great girl to work for but she lets the slackers slack & get by with it. Deb Longnecker was her right hand man and thats where the mistake came in. She was more worried about doing the men in that place than doing her job! The other girls in the office spend more time outside flirting with the truckers than anything else. Seriosly, how can you run a business like that and expect to be productive??? Wake up John Engle. Bring back the ones that worked and get rid of the trash thats bringing that place down!

Actually that isnt true. Its all in who's ass you kiss there. I worked my ass off but unless you're kissing someones you dont have a chance. That place is a joke. I know of another person that got laid off after me and he's still not back to work & he was the hardest worker there. I was a temp but he got hired on full time & they stil laid him off and kept some that dont do shit. They were lost at times if he wasnt there to tell others what to do and he's still hasnt been called back so it has nothing to do with HOW you work, its who you work!!!

Angie wasn't fired, she was moved into a different position to allow yet another azzkizzer to move up the chain....she's back in CCity working....JE gives promotions to those that kiss the most azz (namely his) and should be FIRED before he runs MEG completely into the ground!

I'm glad that she's still working, guess I was misinformed. I apologize. So who moved up and took her spot? I thought she did a great job. Seems like J.E. is getting rid of all the wrong ones. Hilary Wright - she's a bouncer, and has bounced all over MEG...

Not surprised by that I think most of the women at the Connersville plant are bouncers (if you know what I mean) Angie was the one exception. Its sad to see her go!
