They said on the news yesterday that the believed the mother had met the man on the internet, That should have been the first clue not to bring him in your home around your 12 yr old daughter until you atleast got to know him.. But it is great that they finally fount the lil girl alive and doing good...

Glad she was found alive.Unfortunate that her mother was murdered though.

Thank God that they found her safe and sound! That man should be locked up for good!!!

He KILLED the Mom. Read the entire thread. I don't think she made the best decision by bringing him in if she met him online, but she definitely didn't deserve to be murdered. That poor child has more than one obstacle to get over now -- being kidnapped AND losing her Mom.

She was murdered by the man and then he kidnapped her daughter!!!!

She is from Roanoke, Va. The guy who kidnapped her also killed her mother. They found her body at her home on Monday after a bunch of people had tried to call her and they got no answer so they called in the police and that is when they found her body. Brittany was found San Francisco sometime today. Thank goodness that someone there recognized Brittany's picture from all the news coverage. The Roanoke Police Department is in the process of bringing her home so that she can say goodbye to her mother and for the guy they have him in custody and are bringing him back as well. I hope that he pays dearly for what he has done.

Well you are lucky stupidity isn't a crime...if you have had the tv or news on the past few days you would know that the mother was killed before the daughter disappeared.

Wanna know a fact? the taxpayers will pay thousands, and maybe millions to get him out of it. I'll bet when they arrested him, the first words out of the arresting officers mouth was "you are under arrest, don't talk about this or we will hold it against you in a court of law, If you can't afford a lawyer to get you out of this, we'll get one for you, don't worry,, the taxpayer will pick up the tab for that."

And the little girl, not only has she lost her mother, she will live with this trama the rest of her life. Meanwhile, back in the jail, the idiot that did this will get three squares a day, a warm bed, and all kinds of perks, while the little girl will hurt the rest of her life..
