I want to see the obituary of my dad, Don Shoemaker! He worked as the police commissioner and got the police department of Carnation off the ground. Surely that deserves a spot in your precious paper. Having been in city government for years, and the fact that his first wife and son live in Carnation, I would think it worthy of notice.

His service is this Saturday in Lincon City, Oregon at the First Baptist Church. People would like to know about his service and I can't pay the ridiculous cost of $245 to have it published.
