I'm an animal lover and I just don't see why it has to cost so much to get treatment for an animal. These vet's have obviously made there millions, so why not give to an animal in need. I must admit that Wilkerson in Premont gives alot more than this anglo sax at Las Palms. What do you think, should we just put an injured animal down or can they give a helping hand to man's best friend, etc.?

Because it takes WORK and SKILL that they went to COLLEGE and got an ADVANCED DEGREE for. That DEGREE cost TIME and a lot of MONEY. Maybe if you went to school and learned something (which obviously you didn't because your spelling and grammar are terrible) you could become a vet, too.

I agree. Mr. Wilkinson has a big heart and goes out of his way to help any animal. It all comes down to the fact that he LOVES animals. To some people, money is everything. This is not the case with him. In addition, his staff is always so very kind. I will continue to be a customer of his!

I wouldn't get to upset about it "Learn to spell".. We all know who to take your animal to if you want it to survive. Yes, vets make money... but you have no idea how much insurance and life saving drugs cost the doctors. So yes, it makes you wonder how Wilkinson can charge such a low price? Maybe your getting exactly what your paying for.

I'm sure they could work out a payment plan if they really wanted to.

Both are very skilled vets. One is a money hungry shiester that lives to make money and in my opinion has no feeling when it comes to charging the most he can .but that's free enterprise if you don't like it keep on going- like I do.

well I can see how you feel about your dogs but I also see that things are tough all over and animal food is on the rise. so the best thing is to limit ourselves to not having to many dogs. just think about keeping what you can afford. cause dogs are needed to give you a heads up when someone arrives at your home, etc. so you want to have 1 or 2 atleast. just saying

Out east 285, there is a very small lot with many animals right next to the highway, with many poor animals eating dirt.. No pasture, just diet of dirt. This is cruelty to animals in it's highest form. Also, on the same highway there is a house with a gazillion fighting roosters in their little casitas. Why do you what this many chickens, if not to fight them?? Illegal and ridiculous. Where is the Humane Society when you need them??Yeah right, go ahead, tell me how this is " tradition" , B.S.

On east 285 the owner of the goats gives them hay. Just because there is no grass does not mean its cruelty. They look pretty healthy. And the cocks u also speak of, out is not illegal to own or breed them. Go hug a tree.

Well the sheriffs department went out to east 285 yesterday and nothing happened. There is a barn full of hay that is provided twice a day. Just because thepasture had no grass does not make it a cruelty case. Stop bashing..........
