The skate park shld b underway so the kids of fal r hoping it was looking promising for the skateboards of this town they r waiting on a grant so the mayor says and hopefully thts yhe truth. Lord knws they need one cuz so many local companies wld benefit frm it, and it keeps the kids off the street after all we dnt neef any more accidents like tht hit in run yrs bck when tht boy got hit while riding his board god rest his soul. Ppl of this community need to speak up and help the kids tht asked for this park to b made going on abt two yrs now.

Yes, the committee has already submitted grants. This town needs something for the kids. This would benefit to all businesses. And once it has been built they can even have competitions to bring other people from surrounding areas. It is very dangerous for these boys to be skating in the areas that they do. People are not aware of the surroundings and an accident could happen. I am very proud that these boys went to the mayor to ask for something that they need.

Collecting frm game rooms does sound like a good idea but tht wld probably open a can of worms.. lol i personally wld just like to c something done soon for these kids tht are dedicated to skateboarding u have to give them hope by helping them see this through i wld hate to see these kids feel discouraged, it took alot for them to ask for it wht is so hard abt providing it?

The gamerooms are hoing to start paying $1000 per-machine right now the pay$800 (i think so) or something like that so were does all that money go your talking about 335x$800=$268,000 more or less cause some gamerooms have more then 50 machines were is all that money that's ALOT of money for one year

What the City needs to do is build new roads and water lines. All we need is a Skate Park in the middle of a ghetto we call Falfurrias. The infrastructure is destroyed by age and lack of maintenance. Shame on the city people.
