Clinton was a great place at one time and now it is what it is and people like patty are suposed to make it a better place, instead they make things worse go after their own enemys and over look imortaint things.Im tired to DARN IT

I don't know why Poison Pen Patty enjoys trying to put the fear of God in us. Other than she thrives on intimidating people that do not know or understand their own legal rights. Neighborhood people shouldn’t be harassed, embarrassed and threatened into submission. Go to the city building and request a certified copy of Clinton's cities ordinances ‘the ones that do actually exist’. The need is very urgent for people in Clinton City to be enlightened on city codes if any do exist “so you my friend will not be browbeaten by Poison Pen Patty!” Stand your ground firmly and insist on a certified copy of Clinton's cities ordinances before you bend over un-necessarily and comply with anything!

she needs replaced! she's not as capable as she wants everyone to believe. she misrepresents herself as having experience that she either doesn't have or did without the proper licenses.

I like that comment in another thread that says she's somekind of pole animal that no one knows why she's there.

Proper formality: Code Enforcement has to allow due process to occur when requiring abatement of violations. Upon verification that a violation law truly exists, an officer may give a verbal warning to the occupant; issue a written notice and hang it on the door; or, send a letter of notification; all with a specific compliance date. Upon re-inspection, if the violation still exists, a notice and order is sent to the last known property owner; in addition, you may see a notice posted on the property, and again a compliance date is given. Tickets are not issued until of the above-mentioned counterparts have been exhausted. All this is time consuming. In Clinton 'Poison Pen Patty' almost spontaneously writes a ticket penalty or threatens the occupant with a city fine which can increase at the rate of $25 a day.

I had to go to the home of a viscious animal and ask their name to get her to write them a ticket. She as well as the city police were "off duty" at the time of the incident. I had only called on 5 prior occasions, was even hung up on by co.dispatcher - so much for protecting the citizens. They did respond, however, when a past city dispatcher's animal was killed. Guess it is who you know.

Her daughter did shoot a man, but did not go to prison. He did not die.

She is power crazed with no empathy for the people who deserve to be helped (like the elderly) but does nothing about the lazy & irresponsible people who should be "handled" in a more timely & efficient manner. WHY can't she get these DUMPY properties under control? Because she's too busy trying to look busy while picking on minor items which are not safety or health related.

Poison Pen Patty, that has her nickname when she was at the Tribuns Star and it seems to be present again in her new position. She loves making peoples lives miserable. I think she is someone who thrives on that.

At least 2 if not more have been started and removed shortly after starting.

the city's money they're paying her for the time she wastes chasing cats (instead of taking care of the hazards like the burned out properties around town) is money wasted. she's not lonely... she's a bully! no one likes her because she's such a lying & deceitful waste of humanity! Jerry made a big mistake believing she had the real estate license, experience, or knowledge she claimed to have. can the council or current mayor say "you're fired?" or are we stuck with this looser?

Pat has gotten more than out of hand. She lies about her credentials and prior experience among other things. She makes up excuses and her own rules. She quotes ordinances that don't exist. She charges fees for things which she is totally not qualified to do (nor anyone else in the city government)-- such as inspection fees for things like sidewalks to be inspected after they're repaired -- and set-back rules for buildings and many more things that are totally out of left field. She needs to be replaced with someone who will truely represent and help the city. She's been on a power-trip from the day Jerry hired her and it appears there will be no sane return in the near future. Maybe Catherine Hamilton's local office at Main and Walnut could assist her in a safe return from LALA Land! "Earth to Pat!!! Earth to Pat!!! Katie calling!"

The ordinance nazi is a bully who is not doing her job properly. Instead of taking-on the true safety & zoning issues she's picking on those people she thinks are easy targets. She is absolutely hateful and disgusting! The mayor has my vote to remove the witch and replace her with someone who's not afraid to tackle the burn-outs, tumble-downs, and other nasty places that truely need to be resolved!

Can I just say one thing? From what I have heard it's not the Zoning Board, it's the nuisance/code enforcement person. The Board only meets when necessary like when someone wants to be rezoned for business or other purposes or when there is a complaint on the nuisance/code enforcement person.

I will completely agree that this person is out of control in this city. There are properties out there that need cleaned up and there are things out there, I'm sure, that needs done. There are things that the residents are being charged for that I don't see how you can be charged for and I've called up before and sometimes she gets down right hateful. No wonder no one wants to do anything in this town.
