Burnt home in the 400 block of south 7th street in Clinton, Indiana. Just one of the many burnt homes that desperately need cleaned up in our town. This home burnt several months ago. It's a real eye sore...Ok, it's someone else turn to post another picture!

I was thinking about that today when I drove by there. Apperrently Pattie hasn't made it that far or she would call Channel 10 so she could get her beautiful face on the TV. I will say her face scares me.............LOL

How would you like to live near this?
Patty has no clue what to do!
And how about the one near Terra Villa? That's been that way for a very long time! Then there is the pile of debris from the burn-down on Sycamore St behind the post office... People in that neignborhood have their houses listed for sale... This is damageing their property values let alone their chances of selling! Does Patty want to move where everyday she would have to look at this trash with all the overgrown weeds from not being mowed all summer (and longer)? Where is her head? It sure looks like she just milks the payroll and never gets things accomplished! We need someone in this job position who is not afraid to get results and do it within the written rules/laws, someone who is willing to EARN their paycheck without bullying people.

the residents in clinton need to start getting a petition going around to get signatures and present it to the city council and Mayor Lindsay.
At least you all are wanting to make Clinton a town to live in and be proud of. I just wish we could do the same thing in the county in the small towns also.

Just noticed yesterday that Rumors bar located in the 200 block of Main street -“ the top ledge of
the building appears to be separated from the brick & slanted forward along with a crack running down the north side of the building”... Will Patricia Pastore now condemn that building too????
Everyone has to be treated impartially!

no more cat patarol! Pat should be concerned enough to do something about health & safety instead of the petty items. do something positive like cleaning up burned-down houses & places with real safety issues. earn your pay, Pat!

A while back Patty made a Clinton Fireman get rid of his children’s pet chickens that were kept caged in his back yard. Now that is cruel, almost child abuse! Same happened to another family that was raising a few closed in hens for fresh organic eggs for health reasons. I believe that Chicago’s and other cities are allowing chickens to be home raised for organic eggs. Patty denied these peoples enabled rights to fresh food.

Low and behold ... don’t tell me everyone in Clinton’s happy ... cannot believe there’s been no complaints for "four" whole days ..., are we all still alive out there?

What’s up with the widespread numbers of fires that occur in this town? Last week a home on north 8th street burnt, this week another home was lost at 625 Miller street. There’s burnt homes setting all over this town. What’s the average percent of homes that typically would be lost to fire in a small town the size of Clinton? Why aren’t these fires more thoroughly investigated? How can I be the only one that finds these numerous house fires suspicious? I surmise and rationalize that we have a arsonist ‘firebug’ somewhere amongst us! And, that terrifies me!

Kelly, you’re just a child and shouldn't have to deal with all that's happened with your family. Hang in there hon, be strong - life will get better for you!

Why is there so much total loss? Is this due to Clinton's Fire Department? And they wanted an ambulance service... Does this show how capable they are?

So! I have not seen anything done with the burned houses that have been sitting unattended for months to years. Is Pat sitting close to the fireplace so to speak? I have yet to se much accomplishment since she accepted the job for which she's milking the city finances.

The house at 8th & Walnut has a new roof which proves there are good people who have bad things happen but they pick-up the pieces and go forward.

Where are you Patty??

From another post that no one responded to. Is the uneasiness ones limited to just a couple people on this list?

Clinton had another BIG fire last night in the south end of town, in the 10 hundred block of third or fourth street. Still believe there's an arsonist amidst us and that thought frightens me!
Also, in the past when a business building failed to sell mainly on Main or 9th street it destroyed by fire. Just look at the bare lots on Main street, start counting, how many fires can you recall??????????
oh come now

Scortch is supposed to still be in jail for his last public intox arrest.

The apparant cause for most of these fires is lack of maintenance like cleaning out the chimney or having the electrical system inspected & repaired when necessary.

But there should be a concern about the ability to EXTINGUISH the fire once the fire department arrives. Standing around gawking doesn't get the fire killed.
Do something about it

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Leo

Perhaps it's the fact that it's Christmas Eve and everyone is busy, but you can't help feeling that you're walking on eggshells around certain people. Their emotions are very close to the surface and could erupt at a moment's notice, perhaps in a storm of tears or a fit of pique. Calm them down and ask if you can do anything to help.
