Edial Marketing - Who Works There? What't the Story?

From what I hear there is a hiring freeze. You never see Mr. McCarthy but this is a fresh business wouldn't you think he would always be there and available. I also heard he stressed that if you weren't fit for the job he would find you something better or help you to get better but just recently laid all the employees off with no warning. They have families and I think thats so sad for someone to do that especially when these people stuck it out with him. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get sued from this and all his false promises.

Guess I won't be applying now, heard they laid off alot of people already, only a handful left.

Yes everyone got laid off. And were told they would be until further notice. It's a lot of shady stuff going on in that place and a lot of false promises. He got on the news and told all them lies and now look. I wouldnt recommend my worst enemy to apply there. Bill McCarthy is definitely the worst businessman ever.

Everyone is titled to their own opinion, but unless you work there, you do not know the exact details. Yes there were TEMPORARY lay offs. We are a growing company that hit a speed bump, not a brick wall. To defend or comment on your ridiculous comments is a complete waste of my time.

So you are hiring 2000 workers to make over 50k on the phones, but you starting to lay people off when you got near 150 employees.(if its even that much)

Your website looks like it was created by someone in grade school and you are all working off folding tables....but ya we are the ones that are making ridiculous statements.

Today, we were informed of what the real issue was. It is clear. Bill used remedy as a source to recruit people for the business and had a 30 day net contract. I know Bill and his accountant and all bills were being paid on time by him to remedy. Then they started to hold him ransom. They asked him to pay earlier and earlier even against the terms of the contact. Bill did this for weeks. Eventually, however, Bill had had enough of remedy screwing people's payroll up (a weekly event), missing checks, not following through on promises and just not paying some people at all.

Some of the employees at remedy even had criminal backgrounds and remedy missed it entirely. They are major screw ups.

Also, Laurie is the most incompetent person in the industry. She Promises something, claims she has the authority, and then never follows through. And good luck getting a hold of her.

And Jeff, the owner, is even worse. He virtually never returns calls and when he does sounds like he is waffling in his own crap when you try and get a straight answer from him.

Warning to all - don't use remedy at all! Either and an employer or as an employee. You will het shafted. Period. They are the most unprofessional company I ever had the misfortune of having to work with.

Bill finally said enough is enough and dumped them in violation of their contract. All employees are still on payroll and are being moved to the internal payroll system run by McGill Power and Bell.

We are also moving into larger offices over the weekend as construction was taking much longer than promised by griswold and they were over budget by 5 times the quoted cost to eDial.

Let's be clear...eDial is a strong, healthy and growing company with fortune 500 clients in sales and support. The core executive team is great. Their SMS platform is amazing and we are so busy we cant see straight.

Just because Bill dumped Remedy - which he has been talking about for two months - and we are moving into bigger facilities. Don't think the company is off track. As a matter of fact, they are getting to release something never seen in the region before.

Keep your eye on them, naysayers....You will clearly see who is doing the right thing here and that person or persons is Bill and the rest of the executive team at eDial.

I bet is was tough to issue those 50k paychecks every week. lol

So you say Edial is a strong healthy company yet the CEO went on tv and said the reps will make 50k when he actaully is layiong them off.

Then he hired a firm that screwed up hiring and payroll.

If all these people are so bad and so incompetent then where was the due dilligence from the Edial management?
