We are struggling enough in these tough times. It appears that several of the projects slated for our area are worthwhile however would widening 41 and other roads significantly improve our viability to attract or to grow business when we impose an additional 1% tax on their goods and services? Leaders claim TSPLOST will help with congestion. Where, exactly are we congested? I see it around all the schools during the school year.

The bigger question should be....with the vast expansion planned for the Townsend bombing range.....can prop planes and F18 miss each other in such close quarters? Desctruction of wetlands. Of course, the propossed plans for the TBR says," they will pay homeowners/landowners fair market value".........Think we have heard that before..... 51,000 acres wanted. plans, plans and more plans........
