I'm in! Obviously, I have too much time on my hands lately. So, I've had a chance to peruse the other threads. Ya know, I have been on message boards for 8 years and I have never seen a more hateful bunch of people. NM has brought it to a new level of ugliness. That's a rabid bunch. What I found interesting, when looking at their profiles, they mostly list their faith in God and reading the Bible and goodness and light....blah blah blah. What a bunch of hypocrites. They're still calling us out, yearning for us to pay attention to them. Ain't happening.

So, now I'm going to take my meds for these miserable shingles and wait for them to kick in. Won't it be nice to not have to look over our shoulders for the spelling police, the Nazi intelligentsia, the hurls of insults and name calling? Maybe our buddy SJT will hang around more.

We must not give any hint that we have gathered someplace else, as we do not want to be hunted down. We should also not mention here where we came from.

One last question for tonight...... who the hell do you think Ronald Reagan is? I thought Norm, but now I'm thinking FV.

Thanks, Starry. I will hang out as time will permit. I've really missed you guys and that's why I thought I'd check in on the Akron Topix. Can't believe I've been off since May. It's like a friggin' soap opera. You miss several months and tune in to right where you left off. Kinda sad isn't it?
Now for the bright side! Can't believe a year has gone since I met most of you. It gives me shivers to reflect on the good people who have entered my life and made a difference in my world.(even to those I may have only spoken to on the phone). God bless each and everyone of you for having the intelligence, compassion and the good sense to know right from wrong. To know you all leaves me wonderfully blessed....sjt

Did you have a Halloween block party this year? I remember last year you were looking for a good Sloppy Joe recipe? What did you make this year? I've missed your recipes and the wonderful menus you used to share with us. I always thought you should have been a professional food critic. And a menu planner.

P.S. I still make your sweet potato casserole.

Yes, we did the Halloween party along with the 'secret ghost'(like secret santa) and it was highly requested that I make sloppy joes again. Did and also Toll house cookies. We've had so much going on this summer that I feel like all I've done is throw meals together. Glad you're making the sweet potatoes. My father in law will be 90 in March and he liked them so much that he wanted me to give him the recipe. Now that he is all alone, he makes them and has the neighbors in to help eat them. I think when he comes out in December, I'll put him to work for Christmas dinner...sjt

Toll House cookies are my favorite. I like the original recipe on the chocolate chip package the best. I never seem to think of making them, and when I do, they are eaten before the kitchen is even cleaned up. They freeze well too, but who ever has any left over to freeze? So, your FIL is still trekking to San Jose for the holidays? Still playing golf as well? Yeah, I'd put that energetic bunny to work when he gets there. Does he clean crystal and silver?

Seems your newest moniker has them really reeling as they can't stop talking about it. The speculation over who "Ronald Reagan" is is now solved according to the NM brainiacs. They think you are RR, then they think I am RR, then they think I am you and you are me. Then RR is gushing over how smart FV is and thinks all of the NM peeps are FV. Whoa, that's going to make the NM crowd very unhappy if they cannot get credit for all of their lovely posts. I'm also the fake Norm, and sometimes Hunky and Giss. Well, as long as no one thinks I am FTFB4, who I continue to think is the most nuits and insanely jealous of all. Oh, and now RR says that the cop posting as HITMAN, the one that posted very positive things to Jen about the abuse and murder in Summit Co Jail, is now being accused of being FV to throw Jen off. Well, as long as they are talking and being obsessed with identities, then we continue to be alive and well and successful getting under their skin.

My shingles are under my arm and the rash/blisters travel in a line down to by elbow. I feel like my arm is having a nervous breakdown. It burns, itches, tingles, is numb and hurts to the point I can barely pick up a coffee cup. So many feelings it's driving me crazy. Strange that I feel all of these sensations while it is numb. I'm afraid that I may do damage and scar by scratching because I don't feel it. Plus, I'm feeling goofier than usual because of the vicodin.

Spending another entire day at home with nothing to do but hang on the computer, read and sleep. I might attempt to organize my 1000 plus pictures into albums. I don't trust keeping digitals on the computer, so I always have hard copies made and I have boxes of them everywhere.
