Akron man's conviction upheld for toddler's murder

I was a juror on this trial several months ago. I'm truly glad that they upheld the conviction. Thank you State Appeals Court!

Good someone needs to punch him in the stomach and then bang his head on the floor then hang the SOB....There is way to many irresponsible people in this world that have to take their anger out on innocent babies....

He needs the death sentence... It was a child and I know the big boys in Lucasville wont like knowing that one of the guys in there company is a child killer ... Go get him boys ....

He needs the death sentence... I know the BIG boys in Lucasville wont like knowing they have a baby killer among them ... They will handle him most likely in the manner he handled the baby... GO GET HIM BOYS !!!!!

One less piece of trash we have to deal with. Dispose of him.

I can't wait until the other inmates gut this guy like a fish. But don't kill him first fellas, let him feel it.

well put him to death, don't waste our tax dollars housing him, just do it!

Wait till the men in prison get their hands on this man. I hope they beat him every day till he has been beat to death.

I'd hope he suffers. I heard bad things about lucasville prison. He probably won't last very long.

so the mother?? what was her role? and WHY do women let their boyfriends watch their children... I mean havent we seen enough already?? she should be there too. She was probably feeding and housing the piece of trash and he was getting thrills beating her child and she had no idea?? suspicious to me>

I am sure this mother thought her baby was in good care, but we must know the person who watche our kids. Mothers have got to be responsible for who they leave their kids with. I really don't think some young mothers understand- young men do not care and love our children like we do. Maybe young mothers should not leave their kids with a young man unless he is the father of the child.

Cop Killers + Baby Killers = DEATH PENALTY...sjt

Pot calling the kettle....I was responding to a JUROR on this case. I was NOT on the jury...Regardless of how unfit the mother was/is, she was not there when the child died. Apparently you are a relative of the CONVICTED MURDERER and on biased. Again, when someone is proven wrong, look for excuses and ways to point the finger elsewhere instead of taking responsibility for their actions....sjt

Lady you are a complete fool - Wooden told his mother when he called her on the phone from jail that he hit and punched the baby, and that he had done it before. That all came out in the trial.

I didn't know this young mother so I can't judge her. I do agree with you ,young women should not let their boyfriends watch their children.If the mother left her children knowing that her boyfriend was not capable of watching him. Whatever reason, maybe he was drinking, smoking wacky weed, was having trouble with his sick brother, etc. then yes she should be charged with not protecting her toddler.
