I notice the governor is talking about the Freije expansion, but I don't hear him saying anything about the Harman-Becker closing that will lose 340 jobs for Indiana. In fact, I've never heard him talk about any closings in this state. He must be a one way governor. While it is true that there are companies coming here, and there is development along those lines, what is he doing to try to keep the companies we already have?

The Easy Water system is a scam, plain and simple.
Take a look at what the folks up at Purdue have to say
http://resources.cas.psu.edu/WaterResources/p...
The Easy Water system doesn't use permanent magnets, which don't accomplish anything, but does use a electromagnetic field, which doesn't do anything either.
save your money, folks.

Not affilitated with Easy Water or care particularly other than great to get the jobs, but the research you directed folks to used 20-30 year old resources.

Once again, Governor Daniels is taking credit for a company's expansion within the State of Indiana. However, it's the same old story when jobs leave the State of Indiana, no responsibility at all.

Good news. More jobs coming to the area is ALWAYS good, no matter how you look at it. Cant wait to see what the cynics have to say on this one.

If it is not magnetic technology then what is it? On their website it clearly states it will work with PVC pipes which do not conduct electricity so we know it is not electric.

I found $5 today, right after I had $9 pick-pocketed from me. But only a cynic would find the second part relevant, right?

What do you want him do to, pass a law that no company can go out of business or relocate? Government can't do much for existing businesses other than keep taxes low. When that happens, all we hear from the democrats is "corporate welfare.' You morons are the ones who can't have it both ways.

We finally have a governor who is actively searching for new business and way to expand existing ones. And guess what? It's working. Take a short drive to Michigan as see what do-nothing democrats are accomplishing for their state. Their unemployment rate is DOUBLE Indiana's and taxes are skyrocketing. The only businesses on an upward trend are U-Haul and Ryder Truck Rental servicing people leaving Michigan.

Don;t have to be a cynic to see that these new jobs wont offset the jobs lost here...http://www.indystar.com /apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20 080123/BUSINESS/80123021

Yes, it is the same technology. The wire wrapped around the water pipe in the Freije system induces an electromagnetic field via the current that flows thru the wire.

Whether created by a permanent magnet or a coil with a current running thru it, it's still a magnetic field. The field has no effect on the ions in the water. And, BTW the deposits aren't minerals. They're CaCO3 and MgCO3, which are salts. These are highly insoluble in hot water, which is why they precipitate out in your water heater or hot water pipes.

You can't change the charge of a ion with a magnetic field. Can't be done.

Learn a little science.

Sorry about typing Purdue. I meant to type Penn State, but had a brain fart right before I hit the "post comment" button. Nonetheless, the findings are still valid.
