I am just curious why the city will not release what Steve Griffis was accused of that ended his career. The city is keeping it very hush hush. I guess it must be because it all implicates the mayor and or others as well. What ever would hapen if the truth was known?

Well get on with it, I would not call it just being nosy, but also it is wondering what has been going on with mine and all the other hard working tax dollars that are sunk into the police department. And I am also willing to bet either you are a friend of his or one of his goons in the Fairhope police department. If I was accused of a crime, it would be all over the news. For some reason you and many others are just mindless drones willing to accept a 'just because' answer rather than getting the facts. Was he accused of something that would make us as citizens wonder about the protection we are suppose to be able to trust without worry or are the criminals in the police department. What does the city have to hide? As for your go sells shoes or something comment, you need to grow up.

He was let go because he had a history of letting woman out of jail for "favors" after they had already been booked, he did this on multiple occasions...He was such a crook.

Yeah I can confirm that one also, several woman had been thrown in jail for dwi, but Griffis would let them out for "favors", he did this for years, finally someone spoke up about it. But because he was Kant's boy, he got away with it.
