goes to show that there is no entertainment in orange beach. how stupid. more money is leaving orange beach than is coming in. because the local businesses are afraid of competition. should have built wal mart then businesses would be thriving. duh.

There is plenty of entertainment in Orange Beach just as there is along the entire Gulf Coast. If you are looking for Club 54 then maybe you should be going to Manhattan. If you want ski slopes then you should go to Colorado. If one of the best beaches in the World, great fishing and boating, fine restaurants, nightclubs with many bands, wonderful shops, great scenery, very little traffic, a casual atmosphere, golf courses, the finest condominiums, walking-paths, etc. isn't enough for you then what what you want is somewhere else but, don't suggest that Orange Beach has no entertainment.

should build a casino or two - the entertainment from the opposition alone would be better than a prime time comedy club. We need revenue for schools and everything else, and guess what, people are going to gamble if they want. Right now they can give their money to the Indians(tax free) or give it to the Florida lotto or the casinos in Biloxi. Sure, the jobs created would be service jobs, and a lot of them would not be high paying jobs, but some would be good jobs, which is more than they are creating now. Beaches here are "seasonal", but people stay in casinos year around. It'll never happen!!! Besides, there's plenty to do besides gamble - one can eat, shop, get massages, go to concerts - hey the trip through Hard Rock just to look at the stuff there is worth it. Sand alone won't do it.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Cancer

If you have children at home they'll be really playful today and quite a handful at times. Encourage them to burn off all their energy during the day otherwise it will be a case of tears before bedtime. There could also be a fractious atmosphere between you and a loved one, and this will quickly escalate into a row if you aren't careful.
