I knew they would. They are afraid to lose Wilsonville! Well, the time is coming. I would love to sit down with people who believe a change is needed. Hear what others want from our town and see if they would support my running. I would run for mayor, but feel I need to serve on council for at least one term.

Good news W-T-M-I-B. I know of one for sure candidate and one possible candidate that will be running in the next election. With you that will make three. The for sure candidate is debating whether to run for mayor or council. David Wilson has said many times that if someone else would run for mayor, he wouldn't. Let's see if that happens.

Most people talking about Mayor Wilson don't know how much money he has spent out of his own pocket for the town. Will any person that runs for mayor do the same thing?

Well if he has spent money out of his own pocket, by all means let's reimburse him. I would think that it appears his "investment" has paid very good returns on his money.(sarcastic). That is not how it is done by politicians, most all of us, even if we did fall off the turnip truck, didn't get run over by it. Nice try though.

that just shows he is not budgeting the books well and has to resolve it from his own pocket. Plus, his company has made a LOT of money from Summerdale!

Maybe he's feeling a little guilty because he knows the no bid contracts cost the town money.

If the mayor is so smart, why did he put in a side walk all the way to the post office, when only one street in Summerdale, Jackson Street, has a sidewalk?????? Also at least one street I know of has dirt and no sign and a big log on one end???? Does this sound like a mayor that has much upstairs??????????

that is a laugh, only a wilson would do that, wish they would look back on his records and see the true story, if Norma hasn't worked on the books too hard to save them

I have recently been shopping for a home and I am very reluctant to buy in the Summerdale area due to the town being ran by the Wilson's! I know how they are I lived here before. I hope you can get a Mayor who believes in building a town not for personal gain but for progress and the American Dream. I can't see building up downtown believe me we are in the electronic age. What I foresee for downtown Summerdale is making all the vacated buildings rental units and sticking to building up Summerdale on 59. This is the day of change if you people stick by the Mayor and do nothing because He is taking advantage of the situation you are all fools.

If you would do a little investigation before you post you would find out that the dirt road, with the log, is actually private property just go ask Peewee Peebles who owns the land. By the way he is the one who put the log down to keep people from driving through his yard.
