1 shot, 1 stabbed in Bridgeport

They are not clear about what happen it will updated this is what they have now.

BRIDGEPORT -- One man was stabbed and another man was shot, apparently with a pellet gun, after a fight broke out Monday afternoon following an apparent arson attempt, police said.

The fight broke out just after 1 p.m. on Lewis Street, near the intersection of Iranistan Avenue, police said.

It wasn't clear how the dispute initially broke out, but police said the shooting and stabbing both took place after a man attempted to set a house on fire by tossing a lit object on to the house's porch. The house, on Lewis Street, was blocked off by yellow police tape as police investigated Monday afternoon.

Police said after the dispute broke out, one man was stabbed in the arm and another was shot in the leg with what appeared to be a pellet gun.

At least one man was in custody at about 1:30 p.m. Monday, but his role in the fight wasn't immediately clear.

and this is new news? let them get rid of each other and off of the streets so the innocent people can once again walk without fear. They're certainly paying enough taxes!
