This is good news, and not at all unexpected. Another slap in the face of the city leaders for trying to overstep their bounds.

I agree completely. I'd like to see the guy re-open in the same location. Good for him.

So they follow through with the raid despite that they could not get any with fake credentials. I'm glad that this abuse was rebuffed and that the jury saw what was happening. Good for them.

There's a vacant spot right across to street from the PD where. The book store moved out of that he could look at.

Bird, I don't know how you attach all of the articles from the Reputer unless you are re-typing the entire article but you missed a good one.
I think Danette Mitchell's article on the opinion page "Is it live or is it Memorex" was a joke. You missed a good one. I'm sure there would have been some interesting comments on that one!!!

It's called "copy and paste" but if roboblogger didn't pick it up I would never see any of her trash drivel. Maybe I'll go ahead and post it just for you tomorrow when I am at. Home, it's too hard to do on iPad.

Sorry Sir, was was not found innocent; he was found not guilty; huge difference.

If he does open back up, the Fed's will hit him within the year; watch for it.

I would hope this guy sues the city for putting him out of business. It seems like it would be a slam dunk.

That would be nice and may even teach the city leaders a lesson, although I really doubt it. This is far from the first time this city has messed with a business only to get beat down in court.

Maybe a big hit in the checkbook is what they need. I'd be really surprised if this guy DOESN'T sue.

I would think he would get it back, but don't know. I remember a while back reading a judge in marin county ordered some weed returned, but I think it was a single user not a shop set up.

Either way, the Fed's won't let him rest... Them G-Men are tenacious.

Yes, they moved to the end of the building,(I hope they can survive the much higher rent) but that left the spot in the center of the building vacant, the original location of Bricks. Oh, and word has it that the store on the end is haunted from years ago when a guy got shot in there. What kind of an idiot tries to stick up a gun dealer? Answer, a dead idiot.

LOL! Really? Because my daughter worked at Brick's after high school and never mentioned it. I love stories like this. Must have been a long time ago because I don't remember a gun dealer in Vacaville, except the one who was over there on Main where the NorthBay Thrift Guild is now. It's where I bought my .410.

It was quite a while ago. I think it was called "Vacaville Surplus Armory" and after he left that location he went up to the corner of Main and Bernard Streets in a a little center with KC locksmith and the old gas station that housed Dan's Appliances. Bricks has only been in that store for a short period of time, prior to that they were in the middle of the building where the book store just came from.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Gemini

Beware wishful thinking because it will cloud your thoughts and lead to confusion. However, that's much easier said than done, because today you're showing distinct tendencies towards living in a rosy world of your own and ignoring any hard facts that are under your nose. Take care that you don't allow someone to dupe you simply because you aren't paying attention to what they're saying or doing.
