Lunches are stolen every day by people who lie about their income status receiving free or reduced lunches but then paying a couple of dollars for extra such as cookie,ice cream or soda. We also have to support many illegal aliens kids in the same manner. We need to do away with feeding the kids in school make them bring food from home.

It would be healthier (in most cases at least) for kids to bring in their own lunches, too.

Then maybe Fairfax needs to find another way to generate revenue for their already slashed to death budget so that these children can eat. I assure you the majority of these "thefts" are because kids are starving and not getting enough to eat at home. People are really facing major financial crisis due to the economy - too bad no one cares!

Stop feeding the illegal aliens and the kids who only come to school so their parents can stay home and get high or crash from a high. Why should the taxpayers and the parents of children who want to learn be forced to pay to support illegal, disease ridden, vulgar alien trash who are disruptive to the learning process in the first place?- kick them out and you'll have a food surplus.

How about innocent children who are just hungry? It's not their fault their parents are breaking the law by being here illegally.

EASY way to save is KICK ILLLEGAL COCKROACH HISPANICS out of the school system and DENIED them of any free services that cost the tax payers money. I'm tried of Mexican Gov and Case De Cockroach supporting the illegal activities of these cockroaches.

Its the influx of poor. unwashed, under nourished illegal alien kids, and black kids neglected at home. The answer is each white kid needs to buy 2 minorities lunch each day.

We had just put one hundred dollars in our kids a lunch account only to find out a week later it was missing. A femal student had blown the entire amount. Seems she liked to shoulder surf and our son was her latest victim. the schools need to start procecuting the students for stealing this might help with the food theft. the worst part they just thought our kid was giving his number to his friends we had to get the printout that showed this theif was ordering at different times then our kids lunch period. Seems she was treating all of her friends to lunches snacks ect all on our dime. Finally they flaged his pin so they caught the little B.... they credited all of our money back only because they caught her. I would like to add that this kid was not from illegal parents she was just a spoiled kid who decided to steal. As a kid I got that free lunch it was the one meal I could count on as we were at poverty leval not all people that are on free lunch are breaking the laws or illegal. Schools should not have extras like ice cream, sodas and cookies to begin with their are plenty of fat kids here in virginia rich and poor. I say go back to a basic tray lunch one choice for all then lets see how many kids want to steal that lunch. The kid that stole from us just ordered all the junk food she was not from a poor family nor was she or her parents illegal.
