A woman was tresspassing, on his lawn; she looked into his window while tresspassing; and she HAD HIM ARRESTED?

WTF?

It is the peeping Thomassina who ought to be arrested; and also, her children should be taken away from her.

"Tresspassing"...I don't think so. Do you suppose the mail carriers and meter readers are tresspassers? It may be your property, but if it's accessible to the public, even if gated and posted, you're going to have to have a very talented lawyer to convince a judge. That's why, if you shoot the burglar climbing in your window, ya gotta pull him inside.

And you just know, don't you, that if it had been a woman naked in her own house and a tresspassing male looking in her window, it would STILL have been the male who was in trouble?

Now the only thing that makes you stop and think there was more to this, is the open door. We have all been naked in the house and forgotten and walked past a window, but most of us shut the doors.

How do you forget to close the shades before taking your cloths off? And why walk around the house without clothing during the day?

Do you want to be explaining to the cops if a Girl Scout rings the bell selling cookies? And while nobody likes it when Jehovah's Witnesses are at the door, do even they deserve to see this guy naked?(Check out the mug shot accompanying the story. He should NEVER be unclothed. Even when showering...)

Mail carriers and meter readers
have lawful purpose to be on the property.
The woman in the story did not.

BTW... Your pulling the burglar in the window scenario is illegal.

So ... let me get this straight ... a woman is TRESPASSING on HIS property; she looks inside HIS windows into HIS home and complains about what she sees, and some douchebag judge finds cause to arrest HIM?

We are on the precipice of societal doom.

Answering the door while naked is a FAR cry from getting a cup of coffee.

The doorway was inside the house. Not an entry way door.

1) If there's a statute that a prosecutor can tell the court it's public indecency if you and the kids can see him from a public way, Nature Boy is in trouble. The police, the prosecutors, and the court apparently have signed off on him getting his day in court. Based on what we know, I don't like his chances.

2) It's a free country (with some boundaries...). It's OK for the man to walk naked in his home, as he is master of his domain. Ignore the doorbell if you choose.

But for the love of all that is decent, close the drapes!

In Texas, you don't have to pull he/she/it in ... don't wanna mess up the crime scene!

True. What I don't get about Texas is you can shoot a burglar stealing a neighbors TV set but can't open carry. I read somewhere even "printing" is a big no-no. Is that true?

Daily Horoscope for November 24

Aquarius

The Moon enters sensitive Pisces and your second house of personal finances and values today, activating your sixth sense about money. You may be involved in a power struggle regarding finances with a government department, or an institution this year as powerful Pluto transits your twelfth house of matters behind the scenes; this is a long term transit that will play itself out over several years, so choose your battles wisely.
