Randall Sly causing problems?

I was raised close to Fairfax area and still have ties to the area. I have been hearing through channels that Randall or family have been stirring trouble at the school for some time. Is it true he confronted a child at the school and treatened them? If this is true why would the administration allow him to work for the district? I figured it as small town gossip be keep hearing the same thing.

To Whom it may concern from Tarkio.........tell us more about Randall Sly.. What did he do? Who did he threaten?

Would like to know more about Randall Sly and who he threaten! I didn't know he worked for the school.

Evidently, "Concerned" was just trying to cause problems for this person and his family. Post one topic on here and then not add anything to it, sounds kinda fishy to me.

I heard there was something going on but they didn't know what yet. Cuz Randall was going to tell someone and they were interrupted. So something is going on with him but what?

Why is all the focus on Randall Sly when it was the superintendant of Fairfax school that called T. Burke (a student) a bitch.

Here's the ENTIRE story:

It all started with an FFA meeting between the Sly twins, T Burke, and another boy in FFA. The meeting was the result of the Sly twins feeling as though they were being talked about negatively. The sly twins have always had a close relationship with the ag teacher, Joni Fields. They have done various chores for her ever since she's moved to Fairfax and knew they the teacher would be on their side in this argumental meeting.

Upon hearing that the sly twins planned to bring their parents to this intimate meeting, the boys family thought it would only be suitable to attend the meeting to assure that professionalism was maintained.

During this small meeting, people were supposed to express concern to clear the air between the students. One member of the offensive (team Sly) stated that the two students defending themselves were saying mean things about the Sly twins behind their backs. As a response, T Burke stated her opinion (as the students were supposed to at this meeting) by saying that they, in fact, deserved any remarks that may have been made...At the thought that his daughters did any wrong-doing, an enraged Randall Sly stood up and exclaimed to the sixteen-year-old girl "Shut your mouth, voicebox" and raised a fist as though he was contemplating throwing a fist at a teenage girl.

The boy's parents stood up and took T Burke out of the room for her own safety and went straight to authoritative figures in the school.

Randall Sly's job was terminated (he'll never admit it...he'll say he quit). Though, this isn't enough. To put things in perspective, another man was banned from school property upon swinging at a staff member of the school. This man did not hit the staff member. This man did not work for the school. And this man did not raise a fist at a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL. If anything, Randall Sly's actions should be disciplined further than the other man's.

I'd like to make another point. The Sly family has entirely too much sway in the Fairfax school and they realize this...They know their father will receive minimal discipline for his unprofessional actions. This can be assumed by the shirts that were made that display "Sly Twins RULE" and have been displayed publicly at public events.

Last night was a school board meeting and nothing has been released about the status of the situation, though I can say one thing. If nothing else is done about Randall Sly then unfortunately, I will have to admit that this is another case of the Fairfax school board being persuaded/scared by a person's last name.

Recollecting:

•Why would a 40 to 50-something year old man throw a fist at a 16 year old girl unless there is some sort of mental instability?

•These are high school girls complaining about people talking behind their back. Doesn't that happen everywhere? Why should they get special treatment and a special meeting called to discuss their problems?

I would also like to note that the superintendent did NOT call T Burke a bitch, but did relate the situation to another situation from a previous school. He stated that this girl from the OTHER school could be a witch with a capital B. He never said the B word and never called anyone that name but said their actions could be somewhat aggressive.

I think people should watch thier mouths you could get took to court, because of the girls started it, things need to get done , even with the school, thats needed help for some time.

NO behavior like that should EVER be tolerated. You DO NOT raise your fist to a child of any age.

What did the Sly's do to make people think they have the power to rule? People need to let them know that they have no power.

RANDALL SLY SHOULD BE BANNED FROM ALL SCHOOL FUNCTIONS!!!! You never know when he is going to raise his fist to another child or teenager.

Randall nver did raise a fist at burke. he reached across a parent and pointed at her. and said"dont you call my daughters liers" and as for the shirts WHO CARES if you have shirts that say "Sly Twins Rule" its a free country you should be able to wear w/e you want to.
