Did I just read that the 4-YEAR OLD will be charged with theft?! How about child endangerment, neglect, and "abuse" (mental) charges to those adults!!!?

No, not in Wayne County, in Boerne, an expensive suburb of San Antonio.

"Police say because the 4-year-old was the one to walk the merchandise out of the store she would be the one charged with theft and not the adults."

In the state of Texas, the 4 year old might be put on death row. Will be 12 when it's executed!!!!!

seriously, This is more serious than the murder of a child. Child exploitation to commit feloneous crime.

Death penalty in Texas, send the parents right to HUNTSVILLE FOR THE TASK!!!!

Gypsies at their best! Stealing to re-sell!!! Eastview gets hit every year. They come in big staggered groups and try to confuse the clerks while they shove their stolen goods into aluminum lined bags so the sensors don't set alarms off. It is common for them to peddle their children to do the dirty work by wheeling out the strollers jammed packed with stolen merchandise, or in this case the walmart cart. I can't believe the 4 year old is being charged. That is just twisted. As if that child would say no to its parents even if they were 12 years old. Comon' cowboys, punish the parents that are training them this crooked way of life.

The law in TEXAS and NY says that the age is 7 when you are responsible for your actions. HOW OLD WAS THE POLICE OFFICER? WHAT AN IDIOT. Instead of using this circumstance to really get a message out about exploiting children, this idiot ARRESTED A 4 YEAR OLD. And being 4 and cute as a button always wins a dismisal, yes folks even in Texas.

If the cop was frustrated at the issue and arrested the child for that reason, he is TOTALLY WRONG AND DID NOT EXERCISE PROPER JUDGEMENT. THE KIDS ARE PROBABLY SCARED TO DEATH, WHICH WILL HAVE long term affect on the children.

There is a potential that this kid could be messed up mentally and for life, based on the officers actions.

I wonder if he was disciplined for arresting a 4 year old.

A family that shop lifts together... Stays together. In jail!

Still pretty wrong of the parent to teach a kid that. IMO
