Why do you think Steve Wynn was run out of town in Foxboro? Atlantic City is not a prosperous town.

People are not seeing the negative aspects, only the dollar signs, and there are MANY negatives.

Not capitalizing the first letter in Everett shows how intelligent you are.

I attended the traffic meeting. The casino does not have a plan for increased traffic in Everett. The Wellington circle area has already been designed by the state. Also, a fire station would have to be built rthe casino and new equipment purchased -- about 6 million.

People need to see the facts and not be swayed by politicians

The Agreement DeMaria signed (written by Wynn's hired law firm) should be published in the 3 Everett newspapers at least a week ahead of the voting date so the residents know what the deal is that they are voting for. After all, that will be the fair thing to do.

Went to Atlantic City last summer for the first time in over 20 years. It was all cleaned up and rebuilt. Also, there were a lot of factory outlet stores off the Boardwalk [seemed like a mile of stores]. Also, I remember the old days when the projects were all boarded up and a mess but now everything is all new and built up. The Boardwalk has no riff raff pan handlers like before. I was really impressed and noticed many families going to the beach. I'll go back there again for sure.

If it goes to Suffolk Downs we get nothing but the issues of being close to a casno. If it comes to Everett, there is a definite financial advantage.

Suffolk Downs is almost the same distance from my house as the proposed Everett Casino.

I prefer the Everett Casino.

The Casino will be in East Boston/Revere at Suffolk Downs! Not to worry in Everett. Mr Wynn may be in Section 11 Bankruptcy soon; google search his X..Mrs. Wynn who is asking for more $$$ from his gambling winnings. Also, read what the Mayor of Somerville had to say in the Somerville News yesterday. Bobby Kraft and Bobby DeLeo will put the Casino in Revere/East Boston where there is already Gambling, Roads in and out of the Parking Lot, and a nearby Airport with Ground Trans. to and from the Casino. So, Everett is stuck with the same old high crime, low income (illegal)lowlife, foreclosed homes, drugs, and prostitutes. The Casino will be in East Boston where it belongs.

It's a different owner who wants to put a casino in Revere.
