I was voting at the Adams school on Tileston Street and noticed the Schaivo Associates Club across the street. Who is the association named after? Is it similar to the civic clubs in the North End? I noticed some politicians listed membership in this club. Example Wayne Matewsky

The Schiavo Club has been there forever.

Once in a while my father used to take me in there on Saturday afternoons in the early 70's for a bag of chips and a ginger ale. He had a few beers and played pool with his friends. Back then it wasn't a crime to take your kid to a social club for an hour.
