'Dan 'narc-ed' on a bunch of people,' Wylma Cook, 72, said.'Everybody knows that.'
She said prosecutors had shaved his sentence from more than 45 years to 30 years and then to 10 years, with a mandatory five years behind bars, because of his cooperation."

I read the article. I also remember G/M saying in the the first few interviews that the background of Misty and Dan would have nothing to do with the missing girls, while it was the first indication on the minds of many and still is. We just didnít know to what degree this bad dad is. Misty and Dan have been at the top of LE focus. He rats out his drug associates to save himself. LE made suggestion that maybe one he has ratted on recently has girls in order for Dan to not testify against him.(reason they believe girls still alive) I suggest that Dan will know if that is the case. Dan rats on Stolfus, while Stolfus attorney says he is given plea and will likely avoid prison, while Dan is facing 45 years even with the ratting. Dan is desperate. His ratting in this recent case didnít serve him justice. He then reneges on the guilty plea and enters not guilty plea one day before Lyric goes missing. My theory on Dan would be he needs time and money, always money.(no job) alleged boyfriend of Misty staying at house on lake is perfect place for girls to be placed after boyfriend guides them to lake area, gets them in (paddle boat being looked for) throws purse over fence and takes them to house (in paddle boat) right thru back door and safe till they decide what to do next.(paddle boat now for sale on Craigís list) This theory is based on video 12:11 and testimony of Carpenter seeing them on Lake Ave. This is easily a 12 to 15 minute abduction. Of course, it took some planning between the three or 4 who are in on it. This only if family is guilty. I havenít rulled out stranger yet. I just canít put stranger in timeline.

The background on lyrics parents has allot of Meth for both parents and prison time as well.
I agree that these parents are just not with it..I have watched many parents with great faith freak out when their child goes missing.
this whole story sticks. I believe that the parents knew the children were not in the lake cause they know where they are.
The chance for a stranger abduction is 1.6 percent.
So either the parents have them hid or someone they know abducted them. I go with the first.

There are no updates as of now. 80 psychics have bombed out, no clues from river suicide attempt, nothing from overdosed uncle, family keeping quite, LE, FBI keeping quiet. I'd say they have nothing. The girls not found. No clue to get to them. This just might be a case where one of the 1.6 percent stranger abduction took place and they are far from Evansdale. I'm not leaning that way, I just don't know what LE can do to make family talk. Family knows they don't have to talk, they are protected by the same group they want to find the girls. Isn't that Ironic?

There were two people that OD'd that night - the uncle and his girlfriend. They OD'd together at 1415 Vine St. in Waterloo.

What I find suspicious is the timing of these OD's. These two OD'd on Thursday the 26th. Dan Morrissey went to court on Friday the 27th.

Thanks, I wondered if the girlfriend had OD'd with him. Now we have Tammy's daughter caught driving with drugs. I'm suspicious of everyone in this drug infested family. The timing is interesting. How are you putting it into your suspicion? Heather, by the way is a member of this family, while I separated her from the druggies, I just don't know what to think now.

WATERLOO (KWWL)-
Brittany Brousseau, a cousin of missing Evansdale girls Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins, was arrested Monday on drug charges.

According to court documents, 21-year-old Brousseau was driving on West 5th Street in Waterloo around 7:34 a.m. Monday and passed a police officer. The officer says that when he ran the license plate, it came back to an owner without a driver's license.

The officer says that when he pulled Brousseau over, she told him that she didn't have a license. The officer says that Brousseau also declined to let him search the vehicle, but a K-9 indicated the possibility of drugs being in the van.

During a search of the van, the officer says he found a pill bottle containing .5 mg and 2 mg of Alprazolam, a drug used to treat anxiety and panic disorders.

According to the officer, Brousseau knew of the drugs but did not want to talk about them.

Brousseau was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs. She was released on $2,000 bond. Her initial appearance is scheduled for Aug. 16.

Who is next? Uncooperative she is, as we've seen in the family. I saw on a blog where Drew would not "speculate on Morressey criminal background" I wonder why since people who don't even know them are speculating. I'm sure LE is also.

You rarely hear of a couple accidentally OD'ing at the same time. Sounds more like a suicide attempt, especially with the timing.
Maybe they were afraid that DM would share info concerning them.

Found this article posted about a week ago, telling people to be on the lookout for suspicious white vans.

There was a comment from a poster who said that a white van with two males had been seen in the Evansdale area. Seems to be gone now.

Brittney was driving a white van. A cop just sees it and runs the tag, he's on the lookout for white vans and guess who is in it! Jeremy may have thought Dan would rat on him. Dan only had his trial postponed till Aug. 28th. This may be one scared family. Of each other. I'm just about to start thinking that family sold these two girls into the porno sect business. Money, money, money. With the brain damage that meth causes there is no limit to what either parent would do.

Who waits 3 hours to report an attempted abduction and a witness to it to boot? Was dad that shook up that his mental response didn't take hold for 3 hours. I'm really dumbfounded on this one.

This same white van could be the one that snatched Lyric and Elizabeth, while it would have occurred after the girls passed Carpenterís home on Lake Ave. and they are headed to Evans which takes them to the back entrance to the lake. That could easily be done with 3 people in the van. Quick and easy with minutes left to put those bikes on the trail. I will say that these three people have to be involved in some kind of child snatching ring that makes money from whatever they are doing with the kids. I hate to even go there in my mind of what adults are doing to kids.

"Authorities have released a surveillance photo of someone they believe may have information about the abduction of two Evansdale girls.

The FBI released two photos that show a white Astro van and a person believed to be the driver at the Casey's gas station in Evansdale on July 13. That's the day that 9-year-old Elizabeth Collins and 10-year-old Lyric Cook went missing in Evansdale.

An FBI spokesperson says the person is not a witness, but "someone who may have information about the abduction."

This is interesting. It is a Chevy Astro Van, could it be 90ís as described by dad of attempt to abduct son. Dad was close enough to give description of the 3 in the van fairly good. Could he recognize this driver of the van in Caseyís. Could he recognize the van. It was daylight, he could see good. The man in the tape in Caseyís on the 13th was there about 2pm. He makes deliveries for the family business, meat packing company.

Some people say, "meth heads don't trade their kids", well they arrested a woman for trading her baby for a truck, driving to florida and trading truck for meth. From Kentucky. Meth heads will do ANYTHING. Not to be trusted. This story is so convoluted. Number ONE, these two young girls are missing and if they are alive, in danger. I think somebody needs a little truth serum. If the family does not have anything to do with it, please forgive me. Could have been a stranger. In the beginning they were all so sure the girls were NOT in the lake. How could anyone be SURE of anything when children are missing?

I agree that meth heads will do anything for money or pleasure. Families have gone broke getting their drugged kids off the dope in rehabs. There are now thousands of rehab centers across the nation because the drug business flourishes. Here we have an entire family of possibles. I read where meth is extremely bad for the heart. The truth serum sound great, too bad they can't use it.
