I am having trouble finding any information on times when the various groups will be performing at Cherokee Park on July 4. Does anyone have any information? I know the fireworks start around dark. Thanks!

Here is a link with some info that might be of help and it gives a phone number.

I know that 2 of the performer's will be Vertigo and Ronnie McDowell.

Hope this helps!

Charlie Daniels wasn't a july 4th event. The talent has went down though, they need to start charging a little money to get in and get a real talent here.

Never ever been. I generally find a decent spot close to the park and let the kids watch from beside the car or van. No way am i gonna get the family slammed in that park with that many people. Wish they could either enlarge the park. By filling in the lake close to the roads by the rv area. Something needs to be done however. What they have is usually sufficient. But for events like that it is not worthy !

same as any other fair you go to, there isnt real good parking and it takes a long time to get out. It's just what happens when you have a big event.

In my opinion Cherokee park is just too small. Not enough roads out not enough parking and too many rednecks who aren't willing to wait their turn to get out !

Goto CD Swap Shop sometimes. You can get her out there. Or that other sub shop in town. College Subs i think ? There in the plaza where the fitness center is. She's a good singer and person in general.

There is way too many people and mass confusion there for me and my lady to attend.I mean have you seen the people rolling out of there when its over?Flashing blue lights, yellow, and red lights, people hollering, jammed up traffic, and the cops with those light-up-move-your-butts-hand- signalers.

Thats because morons like you can't figure out how to follow simple directions out of the park. The right lane goes to Grainger County and the left lane goes to Morristown. How hard is that.

He's got a point ! I was just happy if I was moving last time. I would sit in line and watch people trying to swap back and forth in the lanes or ride in both lanes and just slow everyone down.

Wasn't too bad for me this year. Though i wasn't exactly at cherokee park. I was directly across from where they fired them. Left my friends house. And was home within 20 minutes. So the traffic though was heavy, was passable !

Well I sure as hell don't need some 25 year old little buzzed-cut wish you were a marine-corps drill instructor telling me how to drive when chances are,I have a hell of lot more driving experience under my belt , than most of you scared to death to pull over some 17 year old girl without calling for back-up there junior, now try sticking out your chest, and suck in your gut, and eat a doughnut.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Taurus

The current planetary influences tend to make everyone groan a bit. Life is not perfect and may be less pleasant than usual, but what can you do? Get real for one thing! That's the way it is and once you accept this, everything becomes much easier to handle. Be solid and dutiful - qualities for which the Bull is renowned - and you'll come out the other side with your halo polished. Focus on some undeveloped potential in your life and take the first steps towards realising it.
