The young fellow who was following Cory on the motorcycle should probably seek a criminal Lawyer, after the investigation he might be charged with street racing and vehicle homocide

IF this cory fellow would have lived he would be going to prison for about 10 years were he belongs,he commited vehicle homicide which makes him a felon in the state of Florida, I would like to see his driving record
besides those two infractions...his driving record was perfect.

Listen everyone, I knew Corey Bell very well this is what happen, When Corey was trying to past the slow car in front of him he went on the opposite side to pass him. When he was trying to get back on the lane the driver that was going slow and then speed up and wouldn't let him back in the lane. The road started turning and it was too late the that was when they two cars crash. The man that didn't let Cory back in the lane saw the accident and flew off. Yes, Cory should have not tried to pass but on the other hand the man that did not let him pass was inconsiderate and selfish. If the man just let him back in the lane and not speed up this wouldn't have happen. Cory was an amazing guy and there was 300 people at his funeral, that should show how many people cared for him. And all of his friends and family pray for those who knew and were related to her. Oh and by the way Cory was wearing his seatbelt it unsnap at the seen.

okay, you guys are really hopeless. First of all the guy that was following Cory who was on the bike was not playing with him on the road. It's so funny how you say things when you were never there.

I said you were entitled to your opinion. Who said otherwise?
I didn't post my experiences for sympathy. I posted to explain my position - a position we all should have. And I certainly don't have any interest in "excusing" my comments. I stand firmly by them.
The reason we have these types of "tragedies" - and the reason we will always have these types of tragedies, is because we'll always have people like you who try to excuse away these types of actions.
"Everybody does it" isn't a valid argument. Besides, not everybody DOES participate in such stupid, ignorant, intentional and deadly behavior.
"Youth" is also not a valid excuse. What about those who regularly speed? What about the elderly - or any age?
Had it been one of your loved ones that was killed, I guaranteed you'd be posting a different opinion. But because it wasn't, you have an opinion of indifference. And that's really a damn shame.
Oh yeah - it's too bad you have to resort to insults to try and get your point across, too... but then, I guess that's to be expected.
EXACTLY!! Do stupid people know they are stupid?

Both my kids grew up and went to school with Cory in longwood,Fl.We were devastated about the news. Our condolinces to both families.I hope each can manage with such an overwhelming loss.A mom is now without her only son and someone else has lost their mom. Many of us are careless in our early driving years.I'm an experienced veteran on the road and I still feel somewhat lucky to be alive.Hell,we all should. We drive on a fine line between life an death every day.I'm very scared about my kids begining to drive.I guess as a parent I'm stuck worrying about them as long as I live.
R.I.P Cory.So sorry Julie.

Oh, yeah, I am one of those dreaded snowbirds. However, I would like to point out that young FEMALE drivers have become some of the worst offenders on the roads. When you add the cell phone to the mix, it compounds the problem. They are a real hazard on the roads

My Dear Wife is now gone 5 months I miss her every day.Cory Bell killed her. If he lived he would be in prison by now doing about 5-10 years.Cory wrecked a car in Leesburg about three weeks before this crash, his mother bought him the truck he was driving less than 2 days before he killed my Wife. He should not have been driving down that road that day, he should have been walking ,his Mother signed, and put him in that truck knowing of his bad driving record. He could not have bought it by himself. My stepson, Linda's Son was not allowed a drivers license till he was 18 and out of our house, I would not let him drive because I new he was a hazard and I did not want to be responsible for his actions.Linda my wife, was a very nice person. She went out of her way to help many people. If you were her friend you would have many things to remember her for.Linda was a Lake county employee, having been a School bus driver, and a CDL trainer.I hope Corys mother can sleep at night.People have to make the right decisions, and not be influenced by their children. The young people now want everything NOW, and don't really care about how they get it, or what they do.ED

That was insensitive and rude. Both of these people were loved very much and you are a sick individual.
If you can't say some that helps or encourages better driving habits, you should keep your "idiot" comments to yourself. SICKO!
Thank you so much for going against the guy who said "Two more idiots off the roads. Yay!
(okay - one and a half?)". When I read his words, I cried. Cory was a dear friend of mine, and though this stupid act cost him his life, he was not an idiot at all! His death was a shock to a lot of us here, and It hurts us all to hear people say it was "just another dumb kid". Thank you again...so much.

Cory was working to get that truck for a long time! For a while it was all he could talk about. Don't pin this on his mother and give her the guilt. She was doing for her son what my parents have done for me, and about a thousand other parents have done for their own kids. Cory made a mistake, and he paid for it in the worst way...Leave her out of it!
