'Tom' Towers was home from a 2nd tour in Iraq

This is very sad. The death of a hero. We all mourn this loss.

As the mother of and wife to Military men, I too wish to extend my pure, heartfelt grief and sadness to the Towers Family. Thomas' life of giving to and for other, here and abroad, is greatly appreciated.

I hope that you receive this message. i am saddened beyond all possible means of expression to hear about Thomas. Even after all these years, he remains one of my dearest friends. I know how much you all loved him, and I wish I could find the words to express how sorry I am for your loss.
