Police say couple starved infant to death

the baby's eyes was not sunkin into his head and he was feed . the father didnt even get to go to the hosptial because the police had him at the house takeing pictures he found out his son died on the phone. the first responders from payne springs fire dept stop cpr on the baby twice.

if the f*ckin police wasnt in the way of the father of getting him to the hospital he wont of died so its not their fault its the police fault

I know this family and I also know some of the firemen who answered that damn call!! And the baby was already dead when they got there.And as for it being it being the polices fault for the baby dieing, it aint thier fault that the baby was starved to death. Its easy to blame someone else. I think they need to do the parents the same way they done their own baby. The coroner in dallas ruled that the baby was starved to death, so whos fault is that.

First of all, if an infant passes away due to starvation, it is ALWAYS the caretaker's fault. If that child lived in the home with his parents, they are to blame. Period. Secondly, if you don't have (at least) a fifth grade education (and it's obvious by your grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors that you don't), don't bother posting your opinion. No one will take you seriously.

I know the families involved, and all I have to say is that no one in that whole family knows how to take care of a child, muchless take responsiblity for a child. So I know that they will never take responsibility for thier own actions, they have to find someone else to blame.I just feel sorry for all the poor children born into all of those families.As far as Joyce's statement, shes part of that family and her daughter had kids by the defendant. So of course she is going to take up for him...

I hate when people try to blame the law enforcement for doing their job.I think people should learn to own up to their own mistakes and in this case I think this couple should really be done the same way they done that poor innocent baby. That baby was treated so cruel. I read what coroners report said and their aint anyone else to blame but those so called parents. I just hope the other children arent harmed.

You know very well that you aint got a mom and dad anymore. I already know that they are gone. duh I know you.. I aint scared of you or you husband's. And your sisters. It's amazing to know that the family is'nt concearned with the actual fact that a baby died. Let's just take time to defend the father. Personally I think anyone that had any contact with the childs family should be held responsible. You know it doesnt only take a day of not eating for a child to die. Face reality, the whole family is filled with bad parents, why not expect the trend to continue. Oh yea the reason Joyce defends Shawn so much is because she had relations with him also. He wasn't just her son in law. Let's just pray that no one else is harmed because of unfit parents.

I have never seen such silly bickering. The autopsy confirmed the child was starved to death. That is murder. The police were not the ones responsible for feeding that child. The parents were. That makes the parents liable. Regardless of the police giving CPR the child was not going to make it. The child was at the point of no return. If these two are your children and you deem it necessary to defend them for what has happened to the baby and blame someone who was not responsible for what happen then you need to see a psychiatrist. It is so sad that now a day’s parents seem to turn a blind eye to the faults of their children. And another thing I can’t understand is if the responsible grandparent was actually taking the time to visit the baby how can that grandparent have not seen the condition the baby was in? And why did they turn a blind eye to that? How could someone see what was going on with that baby and do nothing about it? How can you not see it? How can you defend this?
