How can you post the address where someone grows cannabis when you have no idea if it was legal? Bit sleazy indeed.

I was thinking the same thing! Also, if it is medicinal with a Dr. Recommendation isn't that kind of like breaking someone's right to Dr. patient privacy? Not to mention making them a target for thieves. I think these issues need to be further looked at perhaps by a lawyer... If I were targeted by a home invasion robber due to a newspaper printing what medications were kept in my home because the firemen saw a bunch of pills and called a sherriff I think I'd raise H-E- double toothpicks.

I hope the residents sue the Times Standard for releasing confidential information.
This is a complete invasion of privacy.

What can we expect next? Will they release names & adresses of all registered 215 patients?
Or maybee names and addresses of registered gun owners?

Times Standard drops the ball as usual.

You are a fruit loop. The names and addresses of where fires occur is a public record. You are just whining about being outed.

The names and addresses of fires can be released but are the newspapers allowed to publish what medication the victims of fires take?
The story does not say that the grow caused the fire. I think the cause has yet to be determined.
If a 215 was posted don't you think it might be safe to assume it burned?
I'm not saying this was the case. These people might well have had an ilegal grow that burst into flames and endagering the neighborhood.
But, those facts have not yet been determined & it seems like telling PARTIAL storys may endanger people who weren't breaking the law. I just think news storys should contain a full and factual story before you take a chance at endagering what may well be a law abiding citizen.

That's funny... 11 paid fire fighters .. Their always paid if they are doing something or not.
They even get paid when their not at work..... That's funny ,, Paid,,, Makes em seem oh so very more important because they had just sat around for 1/2 year more than likely.

My home is about 20 ft. from what I strongly suspect is a building used for indoor growing. The wiring would have to have been modified, by someone not obtaining a permit or being inspected. Aside from the worry of a possible fire, I wonder and worry about the kinds of people in and out of that property, the children of the people in the house next door and what they are exposed to on a regular basis in terms of the company kept, the moral and ethical examples of adult living put before them. I'm curious as to how one puts forth the example of "work" for a living and how are the children to learn hard work, success and the respect of our fellow man are our best life lived? It sure ain't from the Medical/food stamp/WIC/low income PG&E parent doing a grow, is it?

As opposed to the numerous volunteer firefighters in our community. I think that was the point.

At any rate, your Inferiority Complex is showing. Thought you'd want to know.

Marijuana apparently affects the part of the brain that controls proper electrical wiring, rendering the user incapable of completing simple circuits.

It also appears to make the user self absorbed to the point of thinking that a straightforward newspaper report about a house fire is infringing on them getting wasted. Marijuana and money are powerful drugs.

Wild guess here... The grower came from out of the area to grow weed and make hella money here. They had an idiot set up their electrical. They are hiring a lawyer to set up a deal with Gallegos' office so they serve no time,in order to set up another grow. Wild wild guesses based on living here 25 years and what I have unpleasantly witnessed over the last 10. They keep on coming, they don't care about any of us really, and Gallegos encourages them. And somehow this is all super groovy, dude? This happened one small property away from the school. Nice.

well well well the peanut gallery so the conservatives set the stage the copers put on a good poker face and the dumbest stoners from the medical or not, community get the spot light sounds like the usual vicious circle that I have witnessed in the last 10 years nothing has changed. glad i am moving to where pot is still illegal and know one knows what weed smells like.. god bless medical lawyers once i make a killing i will open a clinic just like humboldt thanks for the formula.

P.S. I know to many rich people from LA to NY who want marijuana to stay illegal so they can stay rich , they also have the money to lobby like some conservatives and republicans good job A holes you are keeping right people in the money. Guess the people who do the right thing can spend there money on lawyers or food or something. For shure they will lie spred propaganda and not tell the truth that is what the US is all about. Hope this

Guess fear gets us to the point we don't feel human be a good neighbor and say hello to your neighbor let them know your concerns if they are disrespectful take the next step don't worry about
a situation u have no insight on. There are very respectful ways to deal with difficult situations.
Before u worry yourself sick or shoot someone try to be a good neighbor.

It's been reported, turned over to the Task Force. I'm told it takes time for the investigation to be completed. So we wait, watch, wonder and worry.

I'd like to see a bust go down. I'd like to see the kids go to the other law-abiding parent. I'd like to see all the welfare benefits disappear. I'd like to see PG&E wake up, step up and help bring these growers down. How many fires is it going to take? Somebody will have to die first. That's how these things work, right? Nothing gets changed until someone dies, or enough people die.

Meanwhile humanity is affected by the cancers of addiction, greed and selfishness. It even affects those of us who are watching, waiting, wondering and worrying.

To poster 'moral and ethical'--- I left out the info of my neighbor being mentally ill with an extremely unstable and disrupted life. So...."been there, done that" on your be-a-good-neighbor" advice. Has not worked on any level, at any time, and never will.
The one thing I do find some relief, is that the neighbor does not appear to use meth, so the paranoia and thievery aspects aren't there, and that's something the entire neighborhood group is happy about. We see all the other actions for what they are.....the stiuulus/stimulation related to the disorder and we can set those aside or contact appropriate agencies.....in this matter, the Task Force.
