Kidnapping, murder suspects arrested after 32 years

wish we had more details.. sounds like these are some sick individuals.. talk about forensic files!

Whats the chances that the Aubrey arrested here is related to Aubrey that is wanted in connection to her role in hiding the Mustang that was involved in the hit and run fatality?

As a Hoopa Tribal Member and a Mother -I am so saddened and sickened over this finding. I hope that justice is served for this family to the fullest extent of the law.

how could one live within yourself for so long after doing something so awfull?sounds like a couple of monsters if in fact it is them.

The Mustang passenger was Jodene Aubrey. This one's Suzanne Aubrey, who is a few years older. Only last name's similar.

now after 32 years what was there motive? did they molest,hurt or torcher this kid? if so ...32 years ago...how many others are there?

I don't see how Suzanne could be involved, but only God & the guilty parties know the real truth! After looking at that little guy's picture, i felt so sorry for him, his family, and whomever else loved him. Poor little guy! God rest his soul now that his murderer may have been discovered!

p.s. i read about this little guy in the Yreka newspaper posted online!

As someone else mentioned it is amazing that after so many years they never disclosed their guilt to anyone. I guess the guilt was never there. If they have forensic evidence from the scene (DNA that matches) that matched the suspects. Thats a tall order to fight against. I bet many cases like this go unsolved due to the lack of funds to conduct these types of molecular test. Shows us where our (society and public servants) priorities are.

Not that I'm defending them- but have you ever seen what someone goes through after being arrested for something relatively small? It's hell. I can't even IMAGINE how they treat murder suspects (again, not that I'm defending them, if they're guilty they're guilty).

Do you really think you'd look so hot for YOUR mugshot? Tell you what, do a web search for celebrity mug shots and you'll see what I mean. NO ONE looks good in a police station no matter how pretty they were to begin with.

The story is on the Associated Press. It is in almost every newspaper in the state, state-wide television coverage, etc..

Here in Hoopa we saw about sixteen unmarked police cars, CHP's, Sheriffs and Tribal police, accompanied by three helicopters. All these big tough men armed with assault rifles after a seventy year old grandma.
We also got to watch the police remove the GPS devices off the vehicles of the man they arrested.
Looked to everyone here more than a 32 year old murder investigation! I think law enforcement needs to explain why all that fire power for a little old lady?
