Guilty plea planned for Hoopa man in cyclist's death

Am I missing something here? It took the DA months to read the reports? And since when is it up to the officer to opine what the law is? Isn't that what we pay the DA for?

RIP Greg - your death was a tragic loss.

Very generous of the defense attorney to issue the statement "...time to get it over with..." and to include the family of the victim, as though the loss of a man's life can be "gotton over with" by the equivalent of giving the killer a speeding ticket.

RIP Greg. I wonder if anyone in the DA's office rides a bike? Apparently, the life a cyclclist means very little to them.

I'm very offended to know Bear might get off with a misdemeanor. I am a witness to the incident and was appaled by the newspapers calling it an "Unsafe lane change" and trying to blame it on poor Greg. How could it be an unsafe lane change when Bear veared off into the grass where no lane existed?
