Cox is a freakin retard along with all the humboldt county brotherhood of corruption. Cox collected an award because his father was murderd tragically in 1982 while he was unarmed. A courageous man. I can't say the same for Wayne Cox and Mike Hislop and Tom Cook of the Sheriff and District attorney Gallegos. They all poke each other in bed and watch each others back whenever you try to expose the truth which they are scared of. I can't wait to see the outcome of the John Cotton murder by two ex- Eureka Police. One of the officer Harpham I believe has a father detective and grandfather policeman that both work in the same department. As far as Cox yes he is related to Sheriff Gene Cox. They are all related it seems. Dan Parris the CCW coordinator also is bias prejudice and related to few family members that have also worked at the same time in the department. Also Ex Ferndale chief Lawson I believe is also related to a member or two of the Sheriff's department. Most times when shady misconduct happens, the officers leave the area and hire on in another agency hundreds of miles away as you can google all of this information. I know because everyone of these idiots have used intimidation tactics to try to scare the people away from drawing attention. They don't scare me. I am always legal and run wireless audio video surveillance wherever I go. Watch out and protect yourself and beware of them running around in packs trying to roust people and many officers at the scene is a tactic they use so they can lie and back each other up. So surveillance will stop this from occurring and the following around intimidation tactics start to go away when you send them a complaint and a video or to. Humboldt County people stand up and don't be afraid to question there procedures. It is your right you can film the cops if your not intruding and they might try to stop you but it needs to be done and catching this misconduct in numbers will put an end to it.

Also to add I think all of Humboldt County officials need to take a psychological evaluation and go on a diet for crying out loud.
