Heard he died in a car accident.. Anyone know what happened?... My condolences to his family

The word is (thus far) is Carol sustained a heart attact which caused the auto accident or Vice-versa. I supposed the truth will emerge shortly.
I knew Carol and it is very difficult to believe that he is gone. My heart goes out to his entire family.
