Although you are hiding your ISP, I happened to see in in a previous post. It was Eugene. So, what about Eugene "says it all" and what does it say? Eugene is a cultural center....

I'm damn proud to be from Eugene, Oregon!
I'd be proud to be "from" Eugene too. Proud to have grown an independent mind, unloosed from the government tit and moved away "from" Eugene.

What a dump. People who claim to be diverse...unless you have a thought different from theirs. Eugene is probably the most bigoted place I have ever been to.

Oh and the hippie fair isn't in Eugene...well it was for one year, the first one but that was 40 years ago. Also, Ken Kesey was a washed up, dope smokin' hippie with a bunch of unemployed friends who glommed on to him..please note that he did not live in Eugene either.
Eugene saturday market? That's culture? A bunch of unwashed dirtbags trying to sell green leafy vegetables that are full of bugs...and dollar store trinkets for 10 times the price? You mean that market? The only good thing about the Saturday market is when Eagle Park Slim shows up and plays some blues.

And the UO? Culture? A bunch of snot nosed arrogant pussies (you must be one of those) on one side and a bunch of fat-head egotistical jocks on the other? The university that spends more on the football program than it does higher education? Is that the university you're talking about?

tracktown usa...hahahahahahahaha

Macdonald theatre? That's culture? An old theatre that has had more owners go bankrupt than any other longstanding edifice in the city. Yeah, great culture there.

And it's not that cool of a place either. Unoriginal and uninspiring architecture. If that I have been in far neater old theatres in small towns all over the USA. They don't call it "culture", they just go there and watch a show from time to time.

You're really reaching with this post. And get out more. Leave Eugene once in awhile and see what's really going on in the world.
