Northeast CC bans tobacco use

Ok, Northeast, now that you've got the bad stuff underhand. Lets work on the not so bad stuff, like adderall or (addies) all through the school plus the selling of them. If you cut those out the school would close, dont reply and tell me its not, I know better. Plus the pot and liquor, and beer, but thanks for starting with the bad first, you go northeast.

I'm glad it's been banned, should be banned statewide!

I just hope they put a building at the other end of the blvd so itll make the blvd COMPLETELY useless instead of just mostly.

They are just stupid is all. I strongly support a smoking ban, but they need to get their priorities right. They have some serious problems that need attention!

They did it for publicity, not for the students.

I would agree with the smoking ban if thats what they want, but pull the adderall out of it first. Check yourself how much addies are there being bought and sold. If you noticed yours child losing wt. Even though they dont need to you may have a problem. if you want to know check, dont just sit her and spew venom in the dark.

A student gets robbed at gun point INSIDE the dorms, yet you are worried about smoking. Oh I forgot, robbing a student in a dorm with a gun is against the law too.

Are all of you that stupid? I guess the police shouldn't write traffic tickets if there are any unsolved murders. Maybe doctors shouldn't treat people with the flu while there are others dying of cancer. May be the government shouldn't worry about elections while there are still terrorists at large.

Drugs are not allowed on campus yet the place is covered in them. Beer is not allowed on campus yet it is cover with it. Pointing a gun at a student is not allowed on campus yet it happened. I can go on and on about the illegal things on campus that they can not stop yet people worry about tobacco on campus (which is NOT illegal). Kind of sounds like they need to get their priorities straight. I am sick of hearing BAN TOBACCO when I live in a free country. You don't want to use it then don't but stop trying to make the rest of the world kiss your butt. NE has plenty of problems but tobacco use is just not that big a deal.

All everyone talking bout is banned. But it's there and so will tobacco. Never get rid of all the bad. If they do they need run the world.

Taking a crap is legal. Taking it on the sidewalk at NE is not.

Go sit in your car and puff away. Inhale deeply. I just don't want to walk through your cloud of smoke just to go to class.

I'm not a smoker, so forgive my ignorance. This is not sarcasm, it's an honest question:

When y'all (smokers) are in your car smoking, why do you always roll the window down? Cigs are not cheap. Wouldn't you want to leave the window up and get the most bang for your buck?
