The report by the photographer that mentioned a "snap roll" followed by recovery and a dive, sure sounds to me like he did hit one of the trailing vortexes from a plane ahead just like one of the other speculators opined. We (people who love flying and the racing part) will miss Morehouse but like several other of my late friends he went out doing just what he loved doing. Marco, are you a member of a Government agency (un-named) that once suggested that instead of using miniature compression ignition engines (CIE, not true diesels)in my models I should take up another hobby?

Jordan, the Government has been trying to shut this sport down since the 1930's. Only thing was that up to 1942, air racing was seen as a possible route to improve airplanes in ways the Governmet wasn't willing (or able?) to explore. Will that still be the case; or will they succeed this time?
