Has killer black bear been caught?

Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency officials said Sunday they may have captured the black bear that killed a 6-year-old girl last week in the Cherokee National Forest in Polk County.

How many bears do the rangers have to shoot to find the Right Bear? It is far past the time for stomach contents to identify the bear and no one has reported he actually ate any flesh. If hair is needed for a DNA test, why not tranqualize the bear and test the hair? Proof of a poor decision has resulted in an innocent bear being destroyed.
