Murfreesboro is introducing a new program that will save residents 20% on their prescription drugs.
The city hopes a free prescription drug card will help ease the cost for those who live in the city.
"This is a program that we felt like wasn't going to cost us anything, that we could provide to the citizens to help afford their drugs," Murfreesboro spokesperson Chris Shofner told News 2.

He said soon, city residents will see free prescription drug cards throughout the city.

The program is sponsored by the National League of Cities, who is working with CVS's CAREMARK.

Nine out of 10 pharmacies in the city are participating.

The goal is to help hose who have medications not covered by an insurance plan or those who have no insurance.

Residents can pick up cards at City Hall and they’ll be available throughout the Murfreesboro next week.

WalMart, Kroger and Walgreen each has and have had for some time $4 per month's supply or $10 for three months of medications. No need to go to City Hall or get a special card. Just buy your meds there.

To More Facts,
You cannot tell that man anything.

This is how he processes information.

Everybody knows about the four dollar generics and have known for a year. Many people have multiple generics and the Murfreesboro plan sounds like it will save them even that price.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Pisces

Mercury's retro phase in Capricorn will raise questions in your mind about a friend or loved one during the next two weeks. You might wonder what they're playing at and have to ask them to be straight with you, or you could work hard at overcoming the current problems between you so you're able to enter a much more positive phase in your relationship.
