I thought the same thing when I read that. Yeah, it was probably a dumb mistake, but now 29 news gets to make jokes over somebody's accident?

mistake?? Really? Did you skip over the part that said that he is being charged with drunk driving?? Sounds like another case of an idiot who got in a car after having too much to drink. Do you realize how many people he could have died? What if the train de-railed?

Yes, I read it. I also read that he was charged with DUI. And I realize what could have happened to many innocent victims. All of that only solidifies my opinion that it was odd that 29 news took a "light hearted" view with sarcasm regarding the car. As you suggest, the car is the LEAST of his worries.

Increased rail traffic is not the problem. If one reads the article it becomes apparent that DRUNKS ON THE RAILROAD TRACKS are the problem. I have met several long time drunks and derelicts around town who have lost fingers and limbs after they got drunk and passed out on or near a railroad track and I must say that, like people who knowingly try to pick up a poisonous snake, I have no sorrow for them. There are some people that simply DO NOT deserve media pandering and tears from the public (no matter how false, self serving, disingenuous, artificial or staged their self flagellation).

29NBC is the joke. It is the most lame excuse for a television station (news team) there is. The only plus it has going for it is that does not hire your typical "pretty people" to do the news, sports and weather. But that doesn't make up for it's being a laughing stock.

Ummm, have you looked at all of the stations? Cause none of them hire the typical pretty people.
