Well one of the cops are as nice as can be and can actually do his job without harassing or bullying others. However, we can't say the same about A. Jarrett, there has been many complaints about him beating young men who are already in handcuffs!! And he has also ran quite a few elderly people out of town for harassing them. He was actually writing a ticket and towing someones vehicle the other night because there insurance card was a few weeks expired even tho it was still active while AJ was illegal himself with a dead sticker--so YEAH Whitesville has done a great job with choosing their city workers! And also, why don't you people research online and see why exactly A.Jarrett lost his previous job in another county as a cop, it was for harassing and searching an UNDERAGED minor and then Freddie turned around and hired a person like that to supposely protect and serve our town?

hes also paying a.j. as a street commisioner and city cop at the same time. i could be wrong, but i believe thats called double dipping and its illegal.

Actually I am a good standing citizen and my husband and I have had the same problems with AJ and I went to the city councel meetings and Freddy done absolutely nothing about the problem!

Amen, sista. Same here council meeting just a waste of time. They must love it. The cops in this town are a sorry bunch. All we have here is a speed trap. I don't know why they let it go on. Guess it is the money from the tickets. They couldn't catch a cold, much less a crimminal. Pretty sad when you hire a person that thinks he is a cop and has lost one job for being so good at it. Whitesville use to be a good place, it has went just about as far as it can go downhill. Use to think alot of the Mayor, my opinion has changed on that. I have lived here all my life and he took the word of a want to be cop over someone who has known him all his life. Just don't get the picture.

It is pretty sad when the town allows one of their policer officers to push a pregnant woman into the counter while he was taking her into the police station to be booked. To my understanding this happened while they have video cameras in this area of the Jail. He not only shoved in into this he also had her handcuffed behind her back.When he was called out on this by the clerk who was working the window he tried to tell the lady that he did not know she was pregnant. He shoved her so hard into this counter that it caused bruising to her ribs.It could have caused her to loose her baby. There is no way that this officer could not have known she was pregnant because her name had been plastered all over the Town of Whitesville by this same officier AJ Jarrett and it has also been posted on this web site for the last year or so.I would love to know how these officiers can go out an arrested people on assult charges when they can get away with assulting pregnant women and no charges were filed against this officer. The people in the Town of Whitesville needs to stand up and demand that the officers they have in their town do there Job correctly or force them to Re-sign. If enough noise is made to the correct people someone will finally hear you.They shouldn't be allowed to keep getting away with this type of behavior.

what does it matter if you go to a meeting and you say something that dont like they will make you leave and that is aginst the law any town council meeting is open to the public unless you are trying to call them out on what they are doing wrong
