One of the biggest problems is fatherless homes. Then there are the older boys (not to be confused with real Men)that should not have had kids. And then there are the drugs. Money is not even an issue. Guidance to a young teen is.

Most of all is is the mentally of the women that gets into relationships with losers that produce yet more losers.

My sons hates losers and can't stand to be around any type of street people. These young men need a real father.

The kid was just released from juvenile hall and supposed to be home and had a curfew (not to mention the other curfew that all minors are supposed to obey). Guess what, bam shot dead. Most likely up to no good and violating his probation. Too bad for his momma...but she had no clue anyway. Hopefully some other momma will learn from this family's mistakes and take take control of her own kids. I'll venture to guess "not" and Eduardo will just be another product of his environment. I'm sure the suspect(s) in the case are the same result but they survived and will be sent to prison.

I am not out here to cast stones at these people, but I am just frustrated with other parents out there. As a parent myself, I put my kids first and foremost in my life. I know my kids are MY responsibility and am going to be active in their lives.

Good question, where are the fathers out there? Nice post and I agree with you. I'll take it a step further and say people need to go back to the old days and stop having kids until they are married. In this day and age it takes two people to raise a kid. It does not take a village, I just don't trust the villagers to raise MY kids.
