July 24 will be for any response needed to letters from the week before. No political letters will be accepted after July 24. All letters will be at the discretion of the newspaper to reject or edit for libelous content.

In other words we are tired of out of county people sending in letters with their babbling bullshit like that old woman with a face that looks like yoko ono's ass.As she said it takes her all night to write a letter because she has to look up every word she writes in the dictionary for correct spelling. Words like ans, the, but, or, ans even a.She just needs to stay in carter county and try to bring it down to the level she has Unicoi County except carter county will investigate her illegal doings unlike our LE

Whitson is an absolute joke. I heard several comments today about Holt's drawing and how he is trying to bash the commissioners for something they did not buy. Mitzi bought the iPads and it was at no cost to the tax payers. Does Whitson not realise that the commissioners and other office holders are pissed at him and may not advertise in his paper next election. I say bring back Mark Stevens. He could do a better job in his sleep that Whitson would on steroids.
