The Ouachita Parish Police Jury got an opportunity Monday to try a new policy of requiring interim appointments to elected offices to appear before the Police Jury so that those appointees would acknowledge publicly they will not run for the office.

Calhoun Business Owner

The guy out right lied to the police jury and the people of ward 6. I just don't believe that a man who breaks his promise to the people as a public servant has any business seeking another term. The only candidate that I am going to vote for is Bruce Colvin. I think he is number 7. He is the only candidate in this particular race that I feel is a good man.
