The ER seems to have gone to the dogs also. There is only one nurse back there most of the time especially at night and that makes us wait alot longer! My mother was put in there recently and she was not looked in on the whole night! I had to turn her and change her diaper and when I asked what was going on I was told that the nurses were short staffed and were not allowed to have any help unless there were 13 or more patients in the hospital! This is uncalled for! My family has lived here for years and many of us, including me,have been patients at Trinity now called "Patients Choice" and we have always been cared for very well up until now. Well I can say that "Patients Choice" will not be this patients choice after the horrible service we recieved last visit. Can no one do anything about this? Surely there is some law that says there has to be so many nurses in the hospital each day or night? Is there also not a law that says that the patients should be able to EAT the food served and that a diabetic or heart patient not be served the same meal as everone else? Can anyone else tell me about their experiences at "Patients Choice"? Maybe we could get up a petition to help our community hospital we have seemed to lost to this man in Mississippi!
