Police: Drunk trooper killed driver

A state trooper assigned to Troop B's Pittsburgh station was arraigned Thursday morning on charges including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol after a fatal crash the previous night near Erie.

maybe he was depressed? dont fire him, just get him the help he needs and get him back on the force ASAP! as for the dead person, we apologize, but if it was depression he has an excuse!

Sad, sad, sad. You would think a State Police Officer would know better. Why is it that the people that have been drinking survive?

Gee, maybe if someone like Eddie had been around to stop him from drinking and driving this tragedy could have been avoided.

Those of you that drink and drive, you could be next.

Think about what has happened here, those of you that came on to the site about tried to rip Eddie a new one. A young woman is now a widow and a family and friends have lost a loved one just because some guy was drinking and driving.

It is all fun and games until someone dies, isn't it.

Alyssa Bustamante, 18, pleaded guilty Jan. 10 to fatally stabbing Elizabeth Olten in October 2009. Bustamante wrote in her journal after the killing that committing the crime was "ahmazing."

The teenager strangled, stabbed and slit the throat of her young neighbor then buried her in a shallow grave she dug days earlier, the Cole County court heard.

We don't think any of those folks ever took a sworn oath to uphold the law. They were criminals all and will be treated as such. Unfortunately for the rest of us, cops are put up on a pedestal that they have proven time and time again that they don't deserve.
